LP is a good neighborhood park with lots to offer. In the summertime the pool area is great for families to go enjoy a little entertainment. I was truly amazed how kid friendly it was. The park play area was nice too. It has plenty of activities to keep the kiddos entertained, a covered shelter area, benches, walking paths, and basketball court. It's clean and they even have seasonal vendors like an ice cream truck that rides through. They even had a lemonade stand set up by some kids celebrating lemonade day teaching kids about having an entrepreneurial spirit.

Great place to visit for a relaxing dip and fun place for the family. Chairs are limited, so bring a blanket out in the grass. A few shaded areas, get there early to reserve your spot. Kids under 16 $5, adults $7 for day pass. Free small lockers, prices cheap for food $3 Pizza and $1 bottle water. No weapons or outside food, drinks allowed when checking bags at entrance. Suggest leaving cooler in your car and then having a picnic outside of park in nearby tables or grass area. Play zone for toddlers and 5 slides for kids, rock wall, and lap pool with diving boards. This place gets crowed! Children height measured and given wrist band to go on slides. Lifeguards plenty and wear Swim gear. No outside shorts, tank tops in place of bathing suits. Season passes available. Worth a trip to hang out and single people luv to sightsee :)

The park is an excellent city-run facility for families, especially those with kids. A great asset for this community
