We stayed here for the night after hiking in the Palo Duro Canyon since it was closer to where we needed to be the next day (Dallas).

The room was clean, the beds had adequate sheets and pillows, carpet and walls were clean, bathroom, showers, and sink were all clean. All toiletries were provided for.

Noise level was pretty minimum - didn't hear much next door or outside, but depending on when you stay your mileage may vary.

Beds were comfortable and we all felt well-rested to continue our drive the next morning after the free breakfast with your average breakfast items.

If you're traveling with family and looking for a high quality place to stay, this is probably on the lower end of your hotels.

If you're like us and are just passing through for the night, it's more than enough.

For the price ($70/night +tax/fees) I don't really have any complaints.

I really have always liked the choice hotel brands but this hotel should not belong in them. The front desk lady had a hard time checking us in. The beds are old. Just not The best hotel I have stayed at. I will never stay here again.

Room tip: Go somewhere else.

This must be the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed in and would say if you want to have a rest and a sleep you would be better off sleeping in the street,
When we arrived we asked for an extra pillow from reception and was told that they do not have extras so had to sleep with a folded pillow so as not to be laying flat.
Now for the non good nights sleep. Joke. This place caters for truckers who need to sleep at all hours of the day and night. I understand having been a trucker in my younger days that they need to sleep when they can so as o miss the traffic. They park their trucks right outside of the windows, so all through the night there are trucks starting up and engines revving up to get the air tanks full, so as to release the brakes before pulling away. There are so many trucks that in the evening the receptionist asked for us to move our car as it was stopping a truck from parking by the front door.
Well all I can say is Stay next door at the Best Western if you have to stay in this area, as they have NO TRUCK policy, so you can get a good nights sleep.
The rooms are ok and the breakfast is fine but that is it.

Room tip: No good sleep rooms

Arrived after 8 hours driving to room 50 degrees. Had to open door to hallway with provided shampoo tubes for 1/2 hour. Heater unit inefficient to heat room. Could not open window as it was bent, had a fist sized hole in it and was installed on the inside of window where it did not function. Ice machine was broken so no drinks. We were in room 210.

TV worked but schedule provided was not consistent with programing. Analog and digital stations incorrect.

Price of room is unknown to staff as they say it varies. They said I booked online. I called hotel from an area that had no internet when I booked! Was charged over $110 for king bed room. No discounts for seniors due to high demand. Place was not full. I asked in the morning what an extra day would cost and she said $69. Don't let this place prey on you.................

Staff could not provide a billing statement with price listed. Just wanted ID and signature on open ended statement.

On the bright side, the bed was comfortable and the toilet paper was of good quality.

Keep going .............

Stayed in room 101 on July 9, 2015. Today is July 14, 2015. Found bed bugs. I called front desk and the gentleman at front desk was very rude. He said what do you want me to do about it. I asked to speak to manager and he said he would be in later. I took picture and video of bed bugs and took a bed bug to front desk. They said manager would call me but he never called they said he went out of country and would not be back until next week sometime. I called choice and all they could do was refund points and not money that I spent and that was only because I had to call them since manager did not return my call. I was upset because they did not refund my money. This was the worst experience that I have ever had at a choice hotel. Customer service is horrible at this hotel.
