We had to be in Madrid early the next day and, as we were driving in from Valencia, found Getafe to be an excellent location to spend the night. This is a standard Holiday Inn Express. The receptionists were very friendly and the Covid-style breakfast just fine. It was nice to have an outlet mall a very short walk away.
Room not so big (with 2 beds out) but enough. Nice TV, free wifi,clean , own big Bathroom with bathtub nice hot water, kettle to make coffee. Near shopping mall and restaurants. Free breakfast in the morning. Its a bit away from Madrid, so a car is (almost) a must, There is a Bus googing to the malls from central Madrid. We did not try it. Bed was good to sleep in.
Located 100 m from a large shopping centre. Otherwise the area is a desolate industrial park. 10 to 15 km drive to nearest metro line into Madrid. Breakfast is bad - poor quality and almost healthy options. Our room was plagued by mechanical noises from outside all night. WiFi is poor- they block streaming. The place is filled with families with children - if you like that scene👎. Rooms are really clean and functional (ie small). Plenty of parking.
The restaurant scene at the adjoining mall is typical food court fare. Almost no healthy eating options. Lots of burger joints. Udon is good. Hollywood is total crap.

Hotel was very clean, good free internet. Daily breakfast was good, although I got tired of cold cuts after 7 days. Plenty of everything. Staff were very friendly. Room was cleaned daily. Not enough towels, you have to ask for towels. Remember when traveling overseas at lease Europe you should take your own face cloth, wash cloth. The only English speaking channels was some of the news stations. Only a few people spoke English, most spanish speaking people.
This is a mediocre hotel, good for the price. It is located next to a big mall filled with restaurants and shops. It’s probably the best feature of the hotel - the location. Literally one minute away. Free gated parking is available. The hotel itself could be better. For instance, the room was dusty and the vents haven’t been cleaned. You could literally see dust flying in the room when AC blew air.
The breakfast is ok, conventional buffet. Overall, good for the money.
