Isn't it great to be able to relax after having a long plane journey and relax again before the return journey!! That's what we did, magic. It's not far from the airport although our plane was late it was dark when we arrived at Duck Inn. (I have to say though it is not that easy to find in the dark as the small sign is partly behind a tree) Anyway we arrived at the Water Garden Cottage and after being welcomed by the Cora, the hostess, we dumped our cases and I jumped into the deep soak tub on the verandah. There was cereal left for our breakfast the next day, eggs, pancake mix, milk, cereal bars, fruit and of course Allan's great plate of Smoked Salmon, a treat indeed! After our trip we returned to the Duck Inn this time staying in Willow Cottage for four nights. Pure relaxation, feeding the passing swans and mallards, visiting the hot tub in the Florida and room, basking in the hammock, before or after our trips out each day. This is such a lovely place to stay with quirky 'ducks' everywhere, even the light switches! There were also canoes too if you wanted a trip up the river.
