“There's a lot to like about Rusty's”

I guess you could say it's a cool beach eatery. Decor and ambience are kinda fun. Our shrimp po-boys were good. But "New Orleans" french bread seemed to have been frozen a little too long. Our order took a long time to get to us although there was only one other table of guests. - they said "their system was having trouble getting the orders to the kitchen". But have a cool one, enjoy the beach burgers and friendly people there.

Kids and I ate a late lunch here. The waitress was great and offered help on food choices. The food was good and fast. Owner came over and introduced himself to see if we liked everything. Overall nice. Lunch for 3 was right at $40 which is not bad.

Happened on this place on a Sunday morning. We loved the Bloody Mary bar where you get to make your own with all the fixings. The 3 salad plate was surprisingly good! My husband got some kind of Cajun sandwich he really liked. The owner talked to all the patrons and was very friendly. We will be back!

The name of this establishment may fool you...besides the decor this really isn't too tropical. The menu is mostly burgers, which were pretty good but also overpriced.

The wait staff was really nice but the kitchen was extremely slow. The place really wasn't that busy and it took about an hour to get our food. It wasn't the best experience we had that week, but the owner was very apologetic. I just feel they weren't really prepared for the "rush" of spring break.

There were 4 of us who went to Rusty's for lunch during spring break. They weren't expecting the volume of customers they got and service was a little slow at first but they explained the situation & asked for patience. Rusty did his best to make our drinks - claiming not to be a good bartender - but they were great! The food was good too, we're glad we were 'patient' - in reality we were in no rush at all. We had a very friendly little chit-chat with the staff in the end. We're only sorry we couldn't be there for the evening entertainment. It looks like they had some good music lined up.... ah well, next time. The prices are good for the food & drinks. The place has tiki/beach/tropical vibe. We sat outside on their nice outdoor deck on a beautiful day - nothing could go wrong. Would definitely go back there next time I'm in town, and I'll bring my 'patience' for sure!
