I stayed here for two nights...wish it could have been longer. This is a small place with only 3 rooms, but it's wonderful. I had the Sonny Boy Williamson room, which has a big closet, sitting area, huge bathroom with thick, fluffy towels and a big corner bathtub with shower, GREAT air conditioning (it got pretty hot outside during the day), and microwave and small fridge. The owners are friendly and attentive, and there's also a sweet cat named Ellie. :)
My friends occupied the other two rooms during my stay, so I saw them as well, and they are equally awesome. The largest room is actually a multi-room suite with full kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom, and sunroom that overlooks the courtyard/stage area.
The staff reserved a courtyard table for us on our first night so we could better enjoy the great blues music. I didn't have any drinks, but the appetizers are excellent (a diner is also part of the property). The queso and salsa were awesome, as well as the fried zucchini and poblano. I had breakfast in the courtyard the next morning; it was delicious.
On both nights, my friends and I relaxed in the chairs on the spacious front porch (I loved the rockers). The days may have been hot, but the nights were cool and breezy. I could have sat there forever!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Blues Inn, and highly recommend it. Yes, it's pricey, but completely worth it!
