Been here for a conference many times. Their staff throughput the hotel are phenomenal. They ALL do an outstanding job !!

Rooms have been updated. Their making facility improvements slowly as finances and time allow.

What the hotel lacks in room decor , it makes up in service and yes it’s an older hotel. But it hasn’t bothered me at all. Since you’re here to enjoy the outdoors experience , Is room decor really that important anyways ? I think you’ll enjoy the WHOLE experience.

Restaurant prices are reasonable too.

The other hotels along the island have better rooms but this one has service, and that’s really hard to find these days.

We will continue to come out here in the future.

I've stayed here numerous of times and have gone back just to enjoy the amazing food in their restaurant and listen to live bands, and DJ's in their bar. The customer service is just PHENOMENAL, actually the entire resort is phenomenal! 2 hot tubs, 2 very well maintained resort pools, outside bars, outside Burger Shack, the indoor restaurant and indoor bar, less than 100 steps from the beach.. I mean what else can you possibly ask for?! :D The mangers Agustin, and Daniel were very helping in assisting all my needs with no problems what so ever! Never once have I had a problem visiting this outstanding resort! Defiantly will be coming back in the years to come!

Our stay at Isla Grand was phenomenal! The manager, Augustin, went out of his way to ensure that my surprise weekend getaway for my fiancé was beyond perfect! Between the gorgeous resort pool and hot tub, which rivals the finest Caribbean resorts, the surf side burger shack, the bar next to the pool, the Wind Jammer Restaurant, and the Quarterdeck lounge, we never left the property! A few drinks while lounging in the pool, a walk to the beach, and a nap in the condo; all followed by dinner at the Windjammer before a night cap dancing to the live band and DJ inside the Quarterdeck Lounge was exactly what we needed. The DJ had us moving as much as the band did, but the band was great as well! And the weekend brunch is out of this world!! Isla Grand is, by far, the best all inclusive resorts on SPI! We will be back!

On checkout morning spoke to the manager, Hector, to ensure that the $150 deposit that I put down on arrival would be returned. He assured me that it would be mailed within a week of departure. When the check arrived it was only for $75. Messages left for him or his boss, Patsy, were never returned so had to keep calling until they could be reached "live" on the phone. Hector adamantly denied that he said the $150 would be returned and that policy states each of the two guests would receive $75 each. None of which was mentioned during our conversation checkout morning. Additionally, on arrival the front desk made a note on their form to state that I paid the full $150. When I asked him to pull the paperwork and sent me a picture it had conveniently been destroyed. Me and the other guest didn't check out at the same time. Hector claims they gave the other guest $75 and mailed me the other $75 as per the policy. Patsy claims that they gave the other guest the $150 and went back to get my $75 because they shouldn't have given it to her. The other guest never received the other missing $75 even though management claims she did. So what is their "true" policy as it doesn't seem to be executed properly which then becomes the customers problem with no responsibility being taken by the hotel for the missteps. Where does the "missing" cash go? Talking to Hector and Patsy was a HUGE waste of time! Hector used curse words and took personal jabs throughout our conversation while his boss Patsy just sat there and mostly just listened. Their only suggestion was to call the cops so the "theft" could be investigated. I have never been treated so poorly by the management of customer service! Unless you like losing your money and being treated badly... stay away!

There must have been some miscommunication, and we will be sure to look into what happened. Providing our guests the best experience possible is what we're all about here, so we hope you'll give us a chance to prove that to you soon.

Sincerely,
Daniel, General Manager

Stayed here for spring break. Check in was terrible. The staff could not communicate or agree with each other on anything. Bianca was very rude but Nicolas was worse. Nicolas is full of himself and thinks he is God’s gift. He talks to you as if you were dumb, but he is even more dumb. Throughout the week the staff was rude and each employee said something different when communicating with us. Even the towel exchange man gave no help. The only good employees were Antonio and Maggie the security guards for the elevator and Juan and Dylan worked in the elevator and they were very nice.
We stayed in a 6 person condo and it was just alright. There was nothing special but the decor did not match at all. Nothing was too broken but we didn’t have a can opener even though the kitchen was “full equipped” so we had to stab it with a knife to get it open. The view from the 4th floor was of the roof that was filled with beer cans which is understandable because it was spring break.
Overall it was okay but I would ONLY stay at this hotel for spring break. It is not a vacation. The staff is ridiculously rude and can not get anything done.
