We took our son, who just returned from Sweden, and he said the food was "unexpectedly tasty." We enjoyed the meatballs with lingenberry sauce.

Long line probably because there were not enough servers behind the counter. Not good if you are here during a work lunch hour. My wait was almost 30 minutes! However, I was visiting for business from another State, hungry and knew from past experience that the food was usually inexpensive and tasty. I had the salmon fillet plate and added the additional 4 meatball specials. The salmon was tender and delicious as usual and the meatballs...well, they never fail you--always awesome. So the wait was worth it this time, but if you decide you want to come here for lunch during work...then you should reconsider.

Eating at IKEA is always a good idea before you venture out into the store, especially if you have little ones who might not be able to wait to fill their tummies with mac and cheese or meatballs and potatoes. Not to mention the family bathrooms are next to the dinning area which means everything can be taken care of before you get lost in the store and are stuck with hungry kids that need a potty break while you are looking through duvets and have no easily accessible exits.

We were first introduced to IKEA in Europe and after trying the meatballs there, we can't find much of a difference at any IKEA we've tried here in the US; they are delicious just the same making them our favorite. I strongly suggest eating your meatballs with the accompanying Lingonberry sauce and mashed potatoes. Our children love them and they are perfect soft texture for our toddler.

This Swedish Cafeteria, as we call it, has a sweet set up for families with highchairs, bibs, and interactive displays. Having the tray trolley is also key, making it easy to grab food with limited hands. In this particular location, we have found a great sense of family pride which has drawn a very welcoming presents.

We have yet to eat breakfast or dinner here as lunch seems to be our go to. With the menu pretty much being the same, it is an easy in and out before heading to the large dinning area that overlooks the city nearby. In this location, you overlook the parking lot. However, the views of the freeway and tall city buildings are in distant view with a mountainous back drop. It is quite peaceful eating in the dinning area when you find a table by the windows.

Finally, I have to mention the staff. I honestly haven't found consistency with friendliness in the staff. On average, they are impatient, not very helpful, and just ready for the next customer. Make sure you clarify when they have specials before you order so you don't get charged more for having less. Example: I was charged for a free kids meal, and when asked about it, the cashier explained "You didn't order a drink or side with your kid's mac and cheese, so it is not considered a meal, but an a la carte item. If you got a drink and side, then you would get it for free."

We have visited Ikea a number of times and always stop at the Café for breakfast, lunch of simply a coffee. We have never been disappointed. When our travels took us to the store in the evening, we decided to have dinner at Ikea. I had seen gorgeous pictures of their salmon filets on the wall and so was looking forward to enjoying the meal. We were both very disappointed - salmon was OK but they had run out of medallions (not sure what they are) so offered us mixed vegetables. Sadly the vegetables had been overcooked and any sense of flavor had long since disappeared. Was tempted by a slice of almond tart for dessert and the lack of flavor added to my dismal dining experience. Surely almond tart should taste of almonds?? A few drops of almond essence would have made a world of difference. Maybe I my expectations are too high!! Wont make that mistake again. Ikea is not a good choice for dinner

If you’re looking for gourmet, you’re in the wrong place. This is meatballs, chicken strips, fries and mashed potatoes with some vegetables. On the side they have prepared wraps and salads that looked good. The chocolate cake is way good and then you can make yourself a cappuccino for $1 and have a nice cake and coffee moment. It’s good food, just more on the kid side of things. Worth a try.
