First, let's start with the good. The hotel is low cost / economically priced...we had two hotel rooms and they were very clean, nicely painted, fresh linens, a clean and updated coffee pot and fridge in the room, there's also a newer/updated hair dryer, the security seemed good with an electronic door lock and deadbolt, plenty of convenient parking, the grounds were well maintained and everything in the room was in very good working order. That's a lot for a low cost hotel to get right, so five stars on all those items. However, there's two things the traveler coming through Hurricane, Utah needs to know that the other reviews aren't saying. The one strange thing that I did not see in any of the other trip advisor reviews...it's the gap between the window and curtain. There was a five inch gap between my window and curtain from outside-looking-in anyone could see into about 15% of the room which viewed the mirror above the sink, meaning you could fully see into about 80% of the room. So, I walked around the two levels and noticed about five or six other rooms with this same two to five inch gap issue between the curtain and the window. Anyway, instead of making a big deal, I just climbed up and looked at it and saw that it was installed incorrectly and I fixed it for them. My issue is sloppy work that someone allowed to represent this hotel...the lack of privacy this huge gap was obvious. The second strange thing about Hurricane, UT is the water is disgusting. The next door restaurant will not serve tap water and it's even printed on their menu. So, heads up to bring your own drinking water. In summary, I usually stay at other brand name hotels but they were booked for spring break, but if I ever had to stay in Hurricane again and couldn't stay at one of the Hilton brands, this Rodeway Inn would be on the list. The big takeaway was how clean our rooms were...which is a big deal, right?

Room Tip: There's two levels, but no convenient elevator, so make sure to get a ground floor if accessibility is an issue.

Best hotel staff we met on my west usa road trip ! We were welcomed warmly ! The room was big, with a table. The breakfast was very nice for that type of motel ! Best quality/price we have got ! 45dollars breakfast included for 2 . Only drawback, a bit noisy cause the road.

The location is nice on the main street , its a small hotel but nice , staffer are helpful and the breakfast OK , Room is clean and parking just at front door. There are grocery stores near by and many eateries there . Most of the guest are going to zion park and so are we . You save precious 90 minutes of early start if you stay here rather than in St. George .

Room Tip: Any rooms are same

We picked this hotel for our one day visiting Zion National Park, because it had decent reviews and was one of the more affordable options. It was basically your average hotel room. Downsides: the WiFi was not working, and neither were the jets on the outdoor hot tub. Free breakfast is nice, but could use some protein!

On our recent 3 week tours of the south west states, we found this motel especially disappointing. We had intended to stay for two nights, but the owner decided to increase the rate for the room by almost 100% for the second night. I am aware of its proximity to Zion, but this was in the middle of the week. We tried a rival motel just a couple of 100 yards further down the road and not only were we offered a better room but the rate was consistent with what we had paid the previous night; clearly it is worth shopping around. Finally, this particularly Rodeway doesn't have sufficient parking, particularly during busy periods.
