Limited menu for a vegetarian. Expensive price point likely due to the farm to table approach which is understandable but for this price would have expected more personable service.

Dinner menu is mostly buffalo/bison. Breakfast menu has a good variety of options. Food is well-prepared. Prices are high - $55 for a small steak with mashed potatoes (veggies not included). Staff treated our party as well as many other parties like they had no interest in being pleasant in any manner. Holes in window screens with windows open. There were chicken feathers and animal feces smell throughout the restuarant. Dirty socks under out table one morning. Chairs covered with food wiped from the tables. After three meals, we decided to drive at least 30 minutes to a restaurant that was cleaner and with more pleasant service.

We stopped here to enjoy lunch at the restaurant adjacent to the open prairie where the bison roam freely. It used to be the Bison Grill, now Cordwood. While the bison were not in view that day, it was still well worth the stop. The menu is really limited, so what you do order is their specialty. We had the Bison Burger, which is what I noticed most people were enjoying. Well worth the price. About $16. I would recommend it for a different experience.

We really enjoyed the setting, the views and the atmosphere. The food was good and unique (bison served of course). The menu seems to be a little limiting, but they said that they would be adding additional items in the near future. Cordwood is pricey, but where else will you find fine dining in East Zion? Kids really enjoyed the activities by the restaurant.

Cozy, chill farm vibe with great food. After a couple of days of mediocre food at other Zion NP eateries, we were thrilled to discover this East Zion gem. Go early and hang out with the resident Great Pyrenees farm dog and assorted farm petting-zoo animals adjacent to the restaurant front porch, then tuck in to bison burgers and steaks, fresh salads with the yummiest buttermilk dressing, and great assortment of dessert. Menu is small, but each entree is delicious and our group sampled each item and came back a second day to finish the list. Best food treat after a day of hiking in Zion and Bryce.
