Restaurant is very attractive with a nice outside seating area. We had had an excellent meal on our last visit last year so our disappointment with latest was heightened. Service was only fair. While not crowded the young ladies seemed overwhelmed and lack knowledge regarding the menu. Food was very uneven. Of the five of us only one was satisfied with meal. My tuna was barely pink despite being ordered red in the middle(not sure if botched by kitchen or server). My wife's salmon lacked flavor. After consuming her dinner salad one became ill. Oyster appetizer was delicious as were the side accompaniments with the entrees. Heard later but did not verify that there may have been a change in management and chef since last year potentially resulting in the huge fall off.

Wonderful, welcoming spot. Friendly, efficient service, reasonable pricing, menu with some surprises. Loved the lobster sliders, had a super salad. Recommend highly.

The restaurant was easy to find thanks to directions from the Hampton Inn. Our reservation was for 8:00 and we had the Fine Dining Room to ourselves with a window seat. Our waiter was attentive and helpful with good knowledge of the preparation of everything on the unusual menus. The menu for smaller portions (all priced under $15) included deer tenderloin, rabbit and my choice, boar Wellington, along with other entrees. My husband selected halibut from the larger portion menu. Meals came with soup or salad. My vegan carrot soup was delicious, with coconut milk and cumin. My husband's salad was a huge, tasty spring roll. We had a new vegetable, a small tender gourd. Pistachio gellato was terrific.

We went to Pangaea Lounge for my birthday. I love this restaurant. It never fails on it's quality, creativity, and price. Our latest visit was no exception. In fact I think it even exceed my expectations.

I ordered a 1/2 beet salad and a full order of fish tacos. My husband ordered a BBQ burger and a Caesar salad. My salad was so delicious. If you like beets in your salad, you're going to love this one. Beets, creamy cheese, walnuts, and tender greens make a delicious salad. I could have eaten that and left quite happy. The fish tacos were seasoned with a Cajun taste. It wasn't overpowering. Just enough to make it delicious. What amazed me were the homemade tortillas. I eat fish tacos often because it's one of my favorite dishes. Never before had I experienced a homemade tortilla. They were soft and really delicious. It made the whole dish. My husband really enjoyed his burger and salad. He's not a big fan of anchovies in his salad. I love anchovies. it's rare these days to find a restaurant that uses real anchovies in a Caesar salad.
The restaurant is a very pleasant and enjoyable place to eat. We ate indoors on this visit. Consider the back patio when you come to dine. It makes you feel like you are in a world away.. a vacation from the mundane. The cost of eating our meal with sodas was about $50.

I highly recommend this restaurant. It's one of my favorites.
