Birdseye Diner is a consistently popular "go to" place for the locals and the university community. It's in the main section of the village of Castleton. There's a touch of nostalgia like American Graffiti, Happy Days and Grease so it makes for an entertaining atmosphere. The service is fast and friendly. Excellent menu choices ranging from good burgers and sandwiches to home cookin' specials. There was an elderly couple who travels one hour once a week for their specials and they were sitting next to a group of university cross country runners, who were next to a family with young kids. So there's something for everyone. Will definitely go back.
