Looking for a B&B my wife came across this converted mansion/conference center. Dating back to 1902 with cottages from the 1940's this is a very interesting property, with large well appointed rooms, and for us, very important, dog friendly. The room was big, great mountain views, and the property was very interesting, as the inn keeper has incorporated numerous works of art related to his philosophy on conflict resolution.
Breakfast, included, very well done.
The place is showing its age, the need for some rug shampooing, or replacement, and fixes to switches, and lights. The in room gas fireplace would only work if you remover the face plate and operate from under, as the wall switch did not work, the lamp in the bath room was replaced, but the old one is stored in the vanity below.More
