We eat at SoLo at least once a season when we are up here skiing at Stratton and were lucky enough to visit again when we had a weekend up in the fall. The food is so consistently good and inventive, using locally sourced products, prepared in delicious and creative ways. Local cheeses are featured as an appetizer, as well as lovely terrines and tonight, a light Tete de Cochon Croquetta. We were delighted by the lemon-infused ricotta stuffed mushroom and kale ravioli, and the gently grilled atlantic halibut with a curried summer vegetable puree - just perfect for a crisp fall evening. Save room for the most amazing, mouth-watering desserts in surprising combinations.

Atmosphere is very inviting. The food was ok and the service was very attentive. My only critique is they tried too hard and fall flat on a lot of the dishes.

This is our third time at this restaurant and it was amazing again!!!! All the food is so creative and delicious. We had the tomato salad, the chicken liver mousse, the bolognese, the duck, the ramen and then ice cream/sorbet assortment. Every dish was was as good to look at as it was to eat!!! True farm to table place. The restaurant is so quaint and the staff so friendly. Do not miss this place, be sure to make a reservation or get there early for a seat at the bar.

This restaurant is located in a small town but you would never guess that. The food and the service is exquisite. We enjoyed refreshing cocktails upon our arrival. The restaurant is set up in such a way that you do not feel crowded. Our server was amazing at anticipating our needs. Each dish we selected was served on charming handmade pottery or in the case of our Vermont cheeses, on a beautiful slate tray. We selected pasta entrees which paired well with the wine our server recommended. It was a very memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this venue of you are in the area.

Splurge worthy. The truffled hen eggs were divine, my appetizer special of locally foraged mushrooms prepared tempura style were light and flavorful. Wonderful duck breast, mushroom ravioli and chocolate pot de creme. Yummy specialty cocktails too.
