Beautiful inn at the crest of a hill with wonderful sunrise views! The gardens on the grounds are gorgeous, and Charlie and Lee make you feel like your family. The last evening they came out and hung out with us on the back deck. It was quiet, peaceful, and so relaxing! They really make you feel at home. And the breakfast.... MMMMM
<3 We'll be back. It's incredibly relaxing here!

Room Tip: The eastern rooms that get the sunrise will wake you up sooner, but the views are breathtaking

My husband and I chose Cooper Hill off a list of inns that were participating in the Green Mountain Adventure Challenge Groupon. Just driving up to the inn, we knew we chose the right place--stunning view of the mountains from the property. Rooms were clean and comfortable (a big deal when you're dealing with a 6'5" person in a New England inn), and there are a few nice, large common rooms with plenty of activities. The owners Charles and Lee are really the main selling point. They're lovely, interesting people and were very hospitable, offering delicious breakfasts made with local ingredients and great conversation. They also made some wonderful recommendations for other restaurants in the area.

Overall, we had a really fun, relaxing weekend, and we're looking forward to another stay here. Can't recommend this place enough!

We stayed two nights in January. The Inn is located a short drive above the main town of Dover and close to Mount Snow Ski resort as well as Stratton a bit up farther north. The views are fantastic with open field out front and out back, a big yard and view of Mount Snow in the distance. I suggest being up early to see the sunrise or looking up at the stars in the evening. The property is sizable and so is the inn. There is a nice communal lounge with TV on the second floor as well as living room and dining room on the main floor. There was good wifi in our room, though no TV. Beds were comfortable and room pleasant. Breakfast was excellent with a couple of hot options from the kitchen in addition to the light breakfast buffet (we liked the pancakes and french toast). Cannot say enough about how gracious and pleasant our hosts, Lee and Charles were - had some informative and enjoyable chats with them. Would highly recommend staying at Cooper Hill Inn, and would stay again next time we are in the area!

Our son was married this weekend in the garden at the Cooper Hill Inn and it was perfect. Lee and Charles and the team did an amazing job from start to finish...Lee is an excellent cook...The views were spectacular and the grounds were perfect...We had 65 guests from around the world and they were all very impressed with the hospitality....If you are thinking about a wedding in Vermont, start here....

We wanted to stay here but it didn't work out on this trip. But we took a drive up to the property and were in absolute awe of the view - I hope they own the field across the street and no one builds something to obstruct the view which goes on for at least 100 miles. It's up a steep hill but I assume that Vermont snow plows would make this easily accessible in the wintertime. Hoping to actually stay here in the future!

Thank you for stoping by and seeing out view! We are sorry you weren't able to stay with us last summer. If you come now (:-)) you can see those Vermont Snowplows in action! The skiing is excellent with plenty more snow on the way. If not, please try to come next summer. We will treat you like a returning guest!
