We drove past the "Art of Humor Gallery" sign on Route 9 several times a year for many years, intrigued what it could be. I was grateful we finally decided to investigate yesterday. It's further up the unpaved road than we expected... make sure to keep going straight through the intersection.
The views, landscaping and buildings are beautiful in and of themselves, and the 2 floors of Skip's artwork are indeed very funny and wry.
The $5 per person admission fee is reasonable, especially in that it will be applied to any purchase.
Skip and his wife were gracious and engaging hosts, and he even took a photo of my mom in front of one of his pictures for her!
