Crazy busy the Friday before Easter today. I can't believe I actually stood in line to buy my teenager socks in the gift shop....the line was insanely long, but quick. Hadn't been here in 5 years since the last time we lived in NOVA. My 17 year old needed pictures for a school project so it was my perfect excuse to go back to see this museum. Still my favorite "A&S" museum. LOTS of aircraft, LOTS to see. Love this place. Parking is $15, but plenty of it is available. Much easier than going to the Mall.

With the Space Shuttle Discovery, lots of satellites, the stealth bomber, the Concorde, Pan Am plane, WWII planes, helicopters, the Enola Gay, and plenty of intriguing displays! These are not replicas, but the real thing! Has 2 flight simulators and a space shuttle ride. Cool, cool, cool!

I was in Virginia on a business trip and wanted to fill some time. Great experience. I enjoyed the multi levels and the fact you could view planes from different angles. Great for kids. I spent about 2 hours walking through and could have stayed longer for Imax movie.

Lots of walking, minimal interest from young teens, very small intrigued group of kids. seem to be going nowhere fast. Waste of time.

This is my second trip to the Udvar-Hazy Center because there is so much history here. The staff is extremely helpful and patient, the buildings clean and well kept. Take the stairs, elevators or the ramps for easy access and viewing off all the exhibits.
