I stayed here for two nights, and if it were not for the staff, my review would be quote difference. First the bad. There are railroad tracks right behind the hotel. Apparently, they are used often. I heard several trains go by in my two nights at the hotel. I was not used to them the first night, and it kept me up. Second night seemed better. Also I was near a side, exit door, and it was LOUD. People kept going in and out at all hours and were not quiet. The door also seemed to slam shut loudly. It was really annoying. You can't do anything about the loud guests, but the door does not have to be so loud, I suppose. My room also seemed tired and worn. BUT....and now for the good. The staff was Excellent. Especially Christina in the restaurant. Even with all the problems, I would come back again because of the staff. Christina made breakfast fun and a joy and started my day off right. I was in town for big meetings, and she set the tone. THANK YOU. We also had a big meeting that night in one of the conference rooms with eight people and the night staff was equally good, and the food was great - well above what one would expect for a hotel this size. Stay at this hotel, just ask for a room away from doors and on side opposite of tracks.

Room Tip: room away from railroad tracks.

Hotel was clean and satisfactory. Pool was not working but was made public in their website. Location is great for visiting Liberty University. Don’t book through 3rd party or you may not be reserving the room
you think you are- that was my mistake. The restaurant should be avoided unless they have changed the chef - not recommended at all unless you are willing to overpay for poorly tasting and prepared food. We did not stick around for the breakfast option. But the free cookies in the lobby are soft and warm!

staff esp Brittany was wonderful and assisted with any needs or questions. She was able to identify all the equipment in the gym. she also recommended several local attractions. upon check out the handed me a printed receipt for businesses itemization and also emailed me a receipt for my personal record

My husband and I enjoyed our relaxing stay! The staff were pleasant and the room was nice and clean. We would stay again if the pool is working, that’s our only minor disappointment, but staff gave us free breakfast for our inconvenience which was thoughtful!

This hotel is conveniently located on Business 29 in an area offering myriad shopping and dining options. The directions to the hotel, even with GPS, are a little tricky - you feel you are entering a business parking lot and it is easy to miss where you need to instead sharply turn right after leaving the main road onto a tiny access road. Our room was not ready when we showed up but we were early and they offered to call us once it was ready - the call never came. We returned to check again just after 3pm and were told "a room just opened up." Then, moments later we were offered a selection of floors to be on (so several rooms "just" opened up?). The hotel was standard Hilton Garden and otherwise nice BUT, be aware - it is directly adjacent to and under the final flight approach for Lynchburg Regional Airport, so you will hear very loud flight activity from around 7am to around midnight.

Room Tip: Rooms facing Business 29 may hear less airport noise
