Service and the room quality is worth with the price we pay for each room. I especially love the bathroom since most hotels' bathrooms can be quite dirty with that price.
Tip: if u don't want to go out, u can ask the staffs to go out and buy local food around Pyin Oo Lwin.

Having stayed previously we did so again only for a much longer period. Staff were excellent - very attentive and obliging. A good budget priced room, clean and well maintained together with very obliging breakfast staff.
As noted by others, this hotel is positioned very well in the town.
Excellent and cheap laundry facilities available.

Although cheap by western standards it was the most expensive hotel of my stay in Myanmar so far and I booked it after reading the reviews. I have to say although pleasant enough overall I thought it was disappointing. My bed sheets had small holes in them. The wifi was pretty awful most of the time and little things like pepper pots being empty at the breakfast table let it down. They opened the French windows one morning at breakfast and although it overlooked the balcony above the entrance there was no safety rail, a concern if any any children were to wander off.
I found the staff very pleasant and helpful and the location was ok but as I say overall a little disappointing.

Previous reviewers say it all. The location is half-way between the town centre and the lake, which may be a bonus if you wish to eat at the restaurants around the lake. The breakfast was fine - a good mix of Asian and Western as previously commented. Pyin Oo Lwin is definitely worth a visit in itself, rather than just as somewhere to pass-through on the way to catch the train over the Gokteik Viaduct, and the Royal Green is a good value place to stay.

The Royal Green Hotel is a new construction with lovely spacious rooms (mine had a balcony that overlooked their garden and what luxury, a bath tub!!). It was very well appointed and impeccably clean. Best of all the large windows have screens so they can be left open at night to enjoy the cool hill-town night air (in February at least). The staff are very helpful and friendly. Bike rental is cheap but the bikes are pretty dire (as usual for hotel bikes). The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the center of town and it is dark to walk at night. Absolutely no problems with traffic but some barking dogs although they didn't cause any issues. Highest quality hotel I stayed at in Myanmar and a great price. Would definitely recommend and return.

Room Tip: Rooms with balconies and bathtubs on the second floor are lovely.
