We really enjoyed staying at this Hotel. Spacious room, nice staff, good breakfast, pretty hotel! It was quiet and has an excellent location near the center of town. We highly recommend staying there.

Very clean hotel and lots of old Spanish colonial charm. Beautiful wood antique pieces complement the architecture, as do the cheerful wall colors.

Super friendly and accommodating staff; they will gladly arrange tours and transportation. Excellent breakfast choices, and served hot.

Maria, the manager, speaks very good English and will be ready to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Definitely recommend Hotel Casa del Consulado if you are looking for an authentic Granada experience.

Room Tip: Each room is different so look at several to find the right one for you!

We wanted to go to Granada for Semana Santa, and after two hotels cancelled our reservation due to overbooking Hotels.com upgraded us to Casa del Consulado. After such a frustrating experience, we couldn't have been more grateful for our stay here. We stayed in one of the suites and were easily able to add another bed for three people to be able to stay in the room. It had a large window overlooking the patio and a small garden, a/c, wifi, huge comfy bed, and a nice bathroom with a stone shower. The grounds are beautiful with a couple small gardens and cool colonial-style architecture and decorations. The restaurant has better food than most of the other places in Granada, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and helpful for every question or request we had. Our weekend in Granada was made so much better by being able to stay here. Highly highly recommend Hotel del Consulado.

We stayed here 2 nights during semana santa and liked it. A little outdated the bathrooms but decent. Its a quiet place to stay with a very central location. The staff we are very friendly. The pool is a nice extra after a long day of waljing around.
