I've only been to the restaurant but I've been many times over the course of many years and it has been consistently delicious. It is right by the main church and big square so it is a lovely afternoon outing to eat and wander/shop around the square or visa versa. They are willing to accommodate larger parties. Much of the dining area shares space with a garden and I feel as though there is always a breeze and plenty of shade.

This property is not only centrally located in downtown Granada but also offers one of the best services I've experienced in town.
Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. WiFi internet is very good throughout the property including the rooms. It has a nice pool and the restaurant offers great dinning options at a beautiful internal and manicured gardens.
The hotel is an architecture historic jewel and art antiques are seeing through the property.
Staff is just great. Always willing to help and answer any question you may have.
If you are looking for a boutique property you will get great value for what you pay at La Gran Francia. I highly recommend it either for business or leisure trips.

This was my second stay at La Gran Francia and I loved it just as much as the first. Absolutely gorgeous Spanish Colonial building with period-esque decor to match; a lovely pool in the central atrium; fantastic AC in the rooms for respite from the Granada heat; and hot, high-pressure showers to wash up in.

Room Tip: South side rooms on the first floor are quieter and have little patios.

We enjoyed La Gran Francia Hotel for its location, and the friendly staff. It was also clean and quiet with comfortable bed. Their restaurant was across the street from the hotel, but their food was just so so.

We spent 2 nights at the Gran Francia. Nice place, interesting architecture. Bathroom could use a bit of updating. Take a shower early- no hot water at 9 PM but lots all other times of day. Staff very helpful and friendly. Loved the garden restaurant where breakfast (included) was served. Great food, nice wait staff.
