What a disappointing dinner we had at La Passerelle.
I never have expectations from hotel restaurants but this had 3 "Michellin guide" stickers on the front door so we thought we'd give it a chance.
We ordered belgian beef which we've had twice before elsewhere in Belgium and loved it. At La Passerelle however the belgian beef was so hard that it was a pain to even cut it. Eventhough we asked for medium, half an hour later we were presented with two well done pieces of meat of poor quality and taste. The potatoes looked like they were fried in oil that was used too many times as well.
To be honest though I'm not sure if I'm more upset with the bad food or the poor service. The waiter was impolite and did not say anything when we complained about the food. He literally threw the bill on our table and turned away in a hurry. We had to ask another waitress in order to pay the bill.
I recommed that you avoid this place.
