We stayed in the studio room across from the main newly renovated hotel , at the top of 80 steps room 76 we had no problems with noise ! We could see a pigeon nesting with her chicks with from our balcony ! The hotel is ideally situated for port beach and town . We had booked through Thomas Cook so transport to and from the port was provided .
My daughter and a friend stayed 5 nights in the main hotel and had no complaints , breakfast was included for them so we joined them 4 times it was plentiful and a good variety but at 7euros each too pricey to continue . So we had breakfast from the local bakery on our balcony afterwards . We liked it as we could have eaten too much !
Rooms were cleaned every day and beds and towels , beds also most comfortable we have had in Greece !
Also recommend the open air cinema. 5 minutes walk from the hotel
Only 1 complaint we could have done with some shade on the balcony lucky we had early breakfasts ! We caught the sun all day ! Most enjoyed the beaches, the sunset, the restaurants and the old town will return to Naxos .

The Argo Boutique Hotel is in a quiet location approximately 200 meters from the town centre of Chora and recently totally refurnished. We stayed in a large ground floor room for four nights and despite the comments regarding noise made by other travellers, we did not experience any similar problems. The room was well equipped with a good shower, air conditioning, safe, TV, free WiFi, etc. and a small outside patio. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served in a dining room plus some tables around the small swimming pool, and was fairly comprehensive, good value and included in our room price of around 80 euros per night.

It was only a short walk to the town centre and the harbour areas, as well as a pleasant beach area about 100 meters from the hotel which stretches for about 2 kilometers with sunbeds and sun umbrellas available for hire. Wind surfing and other water sports are available.

There are excellent and very reasonably priced local bus services for travelling around the island, as well as many car, scooter and motor bike hire companies. Beautiful, sandy beaches stretch for many miles along the west coast of the island starting with Plaka Beach which starts just south of the main town, continuing right down to the south of the island.

Naxos is a much quieter island than Mykonos but still has a good "buzz" with a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants, our favourite being Scirocco in the main square, always busy but welcoming, good food and and good value.

Thank you to all the staff who looked after us well, would we stay here again - yes!

This hotel is nicely finished with well equipped rooms and bathroom with waterfall shower (Although the window between bathroom and bedroom means you get a fantastic line of sight view from the bed of someone sitting on the toilet!!). The breakfast choice, spa, pool and bar are all very nice.
The main problem with the hotel is the noise. The hotel has no soundproofing and each morning from around 8am anyone moving/talking/cleaning in the corridor instantly wakes you and you can hear every door open/close. Its a shame as means it is not restful

Room Tip: Due to noise, I am guessing the higher the better!

I was looking forward to the end of my trip to Greece with my stay in this spa hotel. My boyfriend and I visited to celebrate my birthday by relaxing.
It all started well, check in was fast and friendly, chilling by the pool was lovely and the jacuzzi in the evening was great.
However it all started getting annoying when the day after we were awaken by the noise around us. We had a ground floor room and unfortunately a room by the cleaners cupboard. We were unlucky to hear all the guests going in and out their rooms and also the cleaners were extremely noisy from 8pm. Later on the breakfast was also noisy with a kid running around. The same happened in the evening when kids were running around. The second morning I had to get up at 8:30 to tell the cleaner to be less noisy.
It's a shame as it's such a lovely place and it's obvious that they invested money in renovating but I guess it's a matter of treating the place as a nice place to relax and not a family b&b anymore.
Also, I believe that the window between the room and the toilet should be covered some how and it's a bit uncomfortable sitting in the toilet and the person in the room looking at you!

Visited this hotel in August 2016 after a very recent renovation and upgrade -it is now called Argo Butique Hotel. This comes of course with a quite high price. The rooms are fresh and the entire hotel is very clean, the staff is excellent and the bed very comfortable! Excellent location, the only minus is that you need to walk 200m to get to the municipal parking lot for your car.
However, there is absolutely no soundproofing from the doors to the rooms! Hearing slippers on tile floor/speech/TVs/doors closing starting at 07:30 is definitely not relaxing! After 5 nights, I need to catch up with some sleep..Also the rooms are too bright in the morning. Wifi coverage in the rooms should be better. Finally, some congestion at breakfast due to the buffet arrangement and the awkward small fridge for the dairy products.
One suggestion could also be to offer pickup/delivery to the port.
I hope these parts are tended to, as this is otherwise a lovely (albeit a bit pricey) choice!
