My husband and I and our son had booked 2 rooms for nearly two weeks - at our first stay at Naxos. The hotell and rooms was even better and nicer than the pictures!! Our syns room at the ground floor was a LARGE one...
The staff was so helpful and nice..
The breakfast was the best in Greece ever!! We could not manage to eat all that Maria served us on a tray!!
The rooms were cleaned every day - towels changed every day

Beaches only few steps from the hotell - restaurants across the street

Nice and quiet little street - but few steps to the restaurant-streets..

We had to travel holme a bit earlyer due to illness in family,
We will definatly go back -

Room Tip: Large rooms at ground floor - best view from balcony at second and third floor

We stayed at the Palatia a couple of years ago it was great then and it still is. The rooms are spacious a good bathroom and a balcony with sea view. Right on the beach and a short walk into the town and port ....A great place to stay....you will not be disappointed

7 Days into our 24 day stay in Naxos St Georges bay, we had to leave the hotel in which we were booked for our stay because the stair-lift gave up the ghost. My wife is wheelchair bound and can't walk up steps.
I knew of the Palatia and thought I would try my luck there. I was told by Vassou who was on the desk that we could have a ground floor room until the 5th of June. We were going home on the 12th of June. By the time we came back with our luggage, we were told the room was ours until the 12th. She couldn't have been more helpful!.
The step to the room was less than 100mm high, but a little timber ramp appeared for us to use. I asked for a plastic chair or stool for the shower and that appeared by magic within minutes.
The room was enormous compared to our previous abode, with my wife able to get everywhere in it without obstructions. The wardrobe and drawer space was the best we have ever had anywhere on Naxos. The towels and bedding was changed every day without fail by Maria.
The hotel is located literally a stone's throw fro the marvellous beach of St George's Bay, with three tavernas immediately in front of us. But there are many others , which we think are better, within a short walk.
This is without doubt the best accommodation that we have had in the St George's Bay area on our many visits here and the staff, including the owner Manos, were first rate for helpfulness and friendliness.

Room Tip: Accessibility which is important to a wheelchair user is best on the ground floor, but these rooms do not have a sea view.

We stayed here for three nights. 10 mts walk from ferry, very near the beach. Room had fridge and cooker and Nice balcony. Nice breakfast for 8 euro's. Very very Nice staff. Get a rented car via the reception for 25 euro's. You will not regret staying here.

we stayed here as a couple from the 31 July to the 5 August (we also stayed in Mykonos & Santorini) we had room 102 the first night which was a large room next to the entrance of Hotel and room 110 for 4 x nights which had a great little balcony looking out to the beach/sea. Hotel was very clean with maid service daily and also had a good shower for greek standards. The room had plenty of storage for two people and the Hotel is in a superb location, you have the beach one way and a nice stroll into Town the other way. We had never been to Naxos and we got the ferry there from Mykonos and walked to the Hotel from the Port (15 mins), we loved Naxos and had a great time during our stay there. The Manager was a friendly fella also. Also, the breakfast is 6E and is served on the balcony, it's an absolute bargain! we only had it twice as we were out and about on a few of the mornings. We had a great stay at the Palatia and would stay again if we go to Naxos in the future.

Room Tip: room 110 had a good view from the balcony
