We've gone her dozens of time. Good food and pizza at reasonable prices. Make sure to make a reservation beforehand. Go in the afternoon (or call) to make a reservation for that night or next night. Closed Tuesdays. Saverio, the owner, gets cranky if you just walk in.

Just had a delightful dinner with friends. Excellent pizza. My favorite is with tuna, onions and olives. Others had appetizer and main courses (pasta and meat dishes). Good wine selection by bottle or glass. Local Reds especially rich and fruity Desserts included a Pavlova...rich & creamy concoction.
I was the official dessert taster with my traveling spoon. Enjoyed all my tastes. Pleasant waiter and congenial owner. Reasonable prices. Good time was had by all.

We have had a house in the area for 28 years and on the two day drive back to the UK we have taken to ranking restaurants to pass the time. We eat out at least 2 or 3 times a week in the area and for the last two years have ranked the Preludio as best value for money. The menu starts with pizzas (and friends swear by the white pizza with pear and walnuts) but we nearly always turn the pages to the seasonally updated menu of around 6 each antipasti, primi and secondi. We can honestly say we have never had anything but very good plates of food here and do not understand any poor reviews. Best tempura, sformatas and risotto you will find anywhere.

This restaurant has never let me down. The food is good and they are open on Sunday and Monday. If you've ever been to this town, you will know why this is a plus.

The food is good the ambiance could be better. We were given one of the most unpleasant table of a restaurant: the one facing the kitchen doors! The lights are bright white, they should be revisited. The staff very professional and quick.
