Stayed at this hotel for a week with my
family, including my 2 year old son. It was fantastic. Right on the beach with no roads to cross. We had a spacious suite which was cleaned to a very high standard every morning and then freshened up in the evening. The food was a very high standard. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. There was a lovely room full of toys for children and a fridge stocked full of milk and juice which we could use for our son at any time. The pool was great and also warm.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough for families with children - it meant that we could really relax. I hope to go back next year.

Dear Ellie_CR,
I'm glad you enjoyed our family hotel, with no roads to cross..specially for little kids. Our housekeeping manager thanks you for the lovely words, and also our Restaurant Staff is very happy you're appreciated our passion and commitment!
The heated pool is perfect for babies but it's also a superlative solution for the winter: the hotel is open 12 months a year and I'm waiting you as soon as possible!
A great hug from the sea,
Matteo Rizzante

Room was updated but small. The pool was very small. The breakfast was good. Good staff. Easy access to beach, good parking. Close to the main strip of shopping and restaurants. I would stay again for a good price.

Dear Jasbuzz,
thanks for the congratulations and for the review!
Maybe in the high season the pool can be small, but we always have a place on the beach to enjoy the sea.
Hope to see you again!
Greetings from Hotel Adlon,

Italia - I love you...
If you are looking for beach, good food, shopping, and bath water(in the sea), then this is the place for you. The beach is 15kms long, yes, 15kms long, as far as the eye can see in both directions. I have never seen so many hotels on the beach in my life. Parallel to the beach is the Main Street with amazing shops and amazing cafes and restaurants, all really good value.

The hotel:
Small, intimate, super friendly staff, fab food - different fish every night, a couple of pasta dishes and steak and veal on the menu every night, table service with a buffet of veg and salad, small modern rooms with excellent aircon, fast wifi and nice bathrooms. Balconies are small but can't see why you would be staying in your room, this place has so much to offer. You have to pay for sunbeams on the beach but the hotel gives you a pass and it only cost 5euro for 2 beds and parasol.

The resort:
Elegant resort where you can stroll around safely, hire a bike so you can see the whole promenade. There are numerous cycle routes for the more adventurous. Did I mention the food? What can I say but these guys know how to do food.
Lots to do for families, waterpark, go carts, bouncy castles and slides on the beach, funfairs etc. The Main Street does get very busy at night but not rowdy, just lots of people. Live music in the piazzas.

Venice:
You can catch a bus from the bus station to Punta sabbioni and then the boat to Venice, trip takes about and hour and costs about 20eur return. Go to Venice, it is mesmorising. No need to do any tour there, just wander the tiny streets and eat some beautiful food on the edge of the canal.

The transfer from Treviso airport is about an hour and costs about 15euro return. The transfer from Marco Polo is about half that.

Holiday makers were mostly Italian speaking and German speaking but all spoke English very well.

Lido is a beach resort but not typical. The people are welcoming, the atmosphere is relaxed, the food and shopping is the best I've seen. There is a range of hotels, apartments and campsites to suit every taste.

The Adlon hotel is in the perfect location, with the beach on the doorstep, a supermarket across the street, and the bus stop is walking distance, No chargé for wifi, safe or beach towels, Car parking on site, mini bar in the room.
I will most certainly be returning...

Reception staff were wonderful. Couldn't do enough.
Rooms are clean and tidy and room with the sea view was outstanding. Real care is taken by the cleaner to make sure the room is clean every day and replenished of everything. Could not fault them at all.
Breakfast was always lovely no matter how close to the end of serving time we got there.

Poor points - restaurant waiter had some kind of problem... not sure what it was but we seemed to always be served last, regardless of when we entered the dining room. Meals were cooked beautifully but very limited choice and the house red tastes like turps.

On the whole a great place to stay but there was certainly a feeling that we were a problem from certain members of staff but most were outstanding. Perhaps it's the change in atmosphere since brexit. Who knows. Maybe next time we should wear "we voted remain" t-shirts.

Dear rkch1ck,
I'm very glad that you liked our hotel and our staff (or at least the most of it) this much.
I really don't know what to say about how you felt in the restaurant instead: our hospitality, no matter what, has always been our greatest pride in every department, and I can do nothing but to apologize if you felt in that way.. I certainly assure you that the brexit doesn't matter at all for us: we would be very pleased to welcome you again in any case!
Maybe next time we could suggest you a differente wine to taste: we have a long wine list of great italian and foreigner wine to choose from!
Regards,
Matteo Rizzante

In a group visit to Venice, most of our tour group were very disappointed to find how long it took by foot, bus and boat to get to Venice itself - nearly an hour and a half. This made it pretty impractical to enjoy wandering in Venice with such a journey there and back.

Whilst the rooms were clean and spacious, the food was very erratic - one night a reasonable chicken dinner, the next a four inch square of pizza.

Jesolo itself was basically shut for the winter, with very few shops or restaurants open.

I imagine it is a lovely setting in summer, right on the beach, but only if you don't want to go anywhere else in a hurry!

Room Tip: Ask for a front view of the sea

Dear DIANECYMRU,
Jesolo is not Venice, of course, so it takes a few to reach it. Actually, it's a 50 mins long trip. If you choose the bus + boat solution you can enjoy an emotional journey throught the beautiful lagoon and its fauna, tasting wave after wave the emotion of moving closer the most beautiful city in the world. It's a great way to experience this beautiful territory (and I'm sorry you couldn't appreciate it as it deserves), but I really hope you come visit as again soon, so we could suggest you the best way to explore the surroundings: Venice, but also many other beautiful towns with their special peculiarities, enjoyable in winter, too!
Regards,
Matteo Rizzante
