Small but very good hotell just by the mijas golfcourse. Excellent service and nice personel. Went here to play some golf and when some of the bookings failed, the personal in the hotell offered to help sort ot out and even gave us a ride to the golfcourse. Love this place.

This weekend was organised by the Costa Del Sol branch of RAFA who invited the two Costa Blanca branches to join them for a Valentine Function. The event was very well organised with a champagne reception and two dinner dances with around 65 present on each night. A senior RAF officer was the principal guest.
The Tamisa Golf Hotel is a wonderful gem located on the edge of Mijas Golf Course on the main road to Coin. Some guests had difficulty in locating the Hotel but taking the Coin turn-off from the Auto-via A7 and proceeding through the Mijas commercial area proved quite easy. The hotel is located just round a bend after the Golf Course signs. The building is quite impressive with steps up to the entrance and balconies on each floor. The reception area features a wide and elegant marble stairway with the main bar just inside the spacious lounge. At the far end of the lounge is a further room divider used for pilates and there is a fitness studio downstairs. The reception and other staff were extremely helpful.

The Hotel owner greeted every guest making the perfect start to a most enjoyable week-end. The rooms are large with a full en-suite bathroom, a sliding glass door opens to a balcony overlooking the swimming pool and the newly renovated Golf Course. A local resident advised that a round cost $85 but there is early bird and late sessions at $45, although the hotel is next to the course, you cannot walk across it, so it is necessary to drive there. His wife complained that there was no cigarette machine and nowhere locally to buy them. The only other minor complaint was a rather slow internet connection. The rooms were very quiet and UK TV was available although it needed a double click to access it. An additional blanket was available although one guest was not aware of where to find it.

Both dinners were excellent with a good choice of 3 course menu, smart and friendly service followed by an English singer with dancing. Breakfast was from 8 to 10am with a full self-service buffet. Total package cost for the weekend was only €130 but this was a special price for a worthwhile charity. Quite a few guests stayed for the Sunday night at reduced cost.

Room Tip: There is a lift to two floors. All very quiet,

We enjoyed a brief but utterly fantastic stay at this hotel after "escaping" from another hotel in the area that purported to be 4 star but could only manage 2,
Being at a quieter time of year (post New Year) we were fortunate to be offered a suite by Carlos.
The room was brilliant and the food and facilities were excellent and presented with professionalism by the staff.
I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

A lovely hotel set on a golf course but with easy acess to Mijas village. Stay made particularly pleasant by the staff in particular Carlos . Breakfasts are great with lots of variety plus a choice of hot items cooked individually for you. The evening restaurant menu is good and varied and to good standard . The Spar and indoor pool were open and available to use. The facilities in the rooms were good plus room service is available.
Would highly recomend and will be visiting again.

We stayed here for a 50th birthday - all 45 of us. It was ideal and the owner and staff couldn't have been more helpful, golf for the guys and spa treatments for the ladies.

Indoor and outdoor pool. Great views out over the golf course and the mountains.

Room Tip: Ask to be at the back of the hotel and on the 2nd floor
