Fantastic time wish we'd stayed longer, staff and entertainment were great.
Rooms are a decent size, town only a short walk away

Overall I'd recommend this hotel as we had no problems at all.

Sunbeds do get snapped up early but we always seemed to get one.

We've just got back from 11 nights here and had a brilliant time. Our kids are 14 and 11 and this is probably a place for kids of about this age more than it is for little ones as the entertainment and noise does go on past midnight. The answer to this is to join in and be part of it rather than complain about it from your room.

We booked direct with Cristina and sorted our own flights and transfer, a private taxi with PMI took 50 minutes each way and cost 80 euros each way, they were excellent and we'd recommend them. The apartment itself was good, not ideal for cooking but we ate out each night and only had breakfast and lunch in the room. Nice spacious balconies and rooms and cleaned regularly, and a few basics like tea, juice, milk and bread being there for us was a nice touch. Our main concern having read reviews was the sunbed situation but it's exactly the same as anywhere else. We got two by the pool each day and never had to be up before 7.45 to do this, and plenty become available for afternoon sun from 3 onwards.

As for the reputation of it being cliquey, we seemed to be in a minority as first time visitors but found everybody to be really friendly and inclusive, but then we did join in and enjoy ourselves. The reception and bar staff were all great and couldn't do enough, and Kevin and Luana are a credit to Cristina, they are great fun and work hard to keep everybody amused. The daytime games and evening entertainment are good clean family fun and there's plenty to do for everybody.

The onsite shop is small and does close between 1 and 3.30 but has most things you need (cash only) and Cala Millor isn't far away on foot. Cala Bona is lovely too and taxis are cheap (5/6 euros each way) and easy to find, you won't go short of nice places to eat in either Cala Millor or Cala Bona. The wifi is sketchy but we don't go on holiday to sit on the internet all day. And if you like cats, there are half a dozen friendly ones wandering about the place all day and night. Bar prices are also very decent, 5 euros for a glass of wine and a pint of Amstel.

We went on one day trip to Aqualand near Palma and it's really good, loads of different slides for all ages but a bit of a trek, about 90 minutes by coach.

Go here for a fun time which might get a bit noisy - we'll be back.

Room Tip: We were upstairs with a lovely pool view but the music was quite loud, if you want a quieter room ask to avoid the pool area.

we just back from 2wks here..very very disappointed..on site shop was closed and one of our 3 kids wanted a Coke..he doesn't take ice..I'd told the bartender then when ordering the coke..he filled the coke up to top..then chucked a large amount of it down sink (probably the amount of space ice would have taken up!) thought twas a horrid thing to do...also noise levels till at least 2am each nite..then people singing, laughing, arguing and shouting on their balconies, while their kids ran riot..we returned home shattered...seems to be no security here. we were family of 5 and I've lost count of the times we had to request toilet paper (also basic requirement we would have thought!), only to be replenished with one single roll for 5 people, having to ask again few days later! Toilet flusher part just came free of it'd holding ..went to reception to say we couldn't flush toilet..took them 24hrs to send maintenance..sorry the man that cleans the pool came! Food..we ate here 1st evening..food is tasteless and bland..and lettuce was gone off and smelly good job I noticed before I kids ate it..no wonder restaurant was literally empty each evening, staff seemed to like sitting down to food in there though..! but not guests. it's a shame as strip a good 20 mins walk with kids and if food was good we would have had brekkie, lunch and dinner there.there only interest seems to be in returning guests..this can be seen with the interaction of staff with returning guests. the clannishness here is unreal and returning guests think they've a foregone right to beds..I seen this when a group of continously returning guests..one of the party of 16 thought because she had put towels on 15 beds in a row that she could move the couple who had rightfully claimed their beds..she thought she had the right to get them to move as this was her 6th visit and she.was 1 of 16, I was glad to see this couple didn't give into this "pathetic" woman's demands, good on them I say! also I met another lovely family from Ireland their son is in a wheelchair and has disabilities..when the entertainment them were requesting "the youngest child" for a task..their son was overlooked for 3 nights in a row..they were very upset..this had been their 2nd visit and prior to this earlier in week they'd told.us they were contemplating a 3rd visit next year..when they spoke to owner it resulted in them being totally ignored by entertainment team.same family spoke of the inappropriate talk with teenagers with entertainment team which seemed to be encouraged and entertained. I'd gone down strip to book dolphin show and western waterpark for two separate day trips..shop on strip was closed..on returning to hotel I asked Julie on desk did they sell these excursions..she said yes..I asked her for price for both above mentioned..she said we do both these trips on a 1 day out..I said oh! but would there be time to fit in everything on one day..especially with waterparks as everyone knows popular ones can have a waiting time of at least an hour..her response was..oh I can't envisage how you would have a problem fitting everything in as you have a fast pass track..and won't have any queues for rides and will go.straight through..oh that's great I said and paid her the €240. went on day to dolphin show..then onto waterpark in Magaluf..only for guide on bus to say she had no record of us having a fast pass track..she was lovely and clearly embarrassed and said we would have to take it up with hotel on returning..we went into waterpark..what a upsetting experience for our 3kids..we could only go into pool and lazy river and rapid river..we could have stayed in hotel pool instead would have been literally same experience! our kids cried looking at all the proper rides that they go on in every other holiday that they didn't have time to go on got back on bus feeling very disappointed, guide showed us a pic of our receipt along with another family who were in a different hotel who got reimbursed for this error..she said we were overcharged at least €40..but even if we had got that back it would never have made up for the disappointment and loss of a day of promised fun for our kids. on retuning to hotel Julie wasn't on duty till next day..her response next day...I told ye ye had a fast pass at entrance gate !!! I asked her how did that explain her saying oh I can't see how ye would have a problem fitting everything in when ye have fast pass and no queues ! talk about trying to pull wool over people's eyes! she denied she ever said about going straight through and avoiding queues . I'd rather queue half hour at Gate...and have the fast pass we were told we had. we have a son who has issues and finds queus distressing..so if pass hadn't been in it it would have been something we would have purchased on the day if we weren't promised this at hotel anyway.people save their hard earned money all year like us. we are a normal family and put huge effort into saving all year. our advice..save disappointment and.dont book here if you have family!

Apartments are clean and spacious and staff are friendly, it's a bit of a trek to the beach and bars etc (about 20 mins), pool area is quite small and unless you get up at 7am you've got no chance of getting a sun bed!

Room Tip: Ask for a room furthest away from pool area as it's noisy till about 2am

We had a fabulous holiday and will be returning. The pool area is lovely and the entertainment staff are a credit to the apartments. The rooms are spacious maybe a bit outdated but this adds to the charm
