Please see the review by Anita V. We were with her and her husband,. Totally agree with all the comments that she has made, we had a wonderful relaxing and fun filled break. Would add that maybe under 35's might find it a bit quiet. Have written to Thomson re their lack lustre approach!! Will certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are certainly worth having

Returned today from a two week holiday at this lovely hotel.
The view from our room was stunning.
Never seen so much tempting food for breakfast and dinner.
The staff were excellent; so hard working and always happy.
Daytime entertainment was good, although I was on holiday just to totally relax.
The evening entertainment was also very good.
Frankie and Jackie (Midnight Affair) were very good and the professional acts were excellent.
Jason and Gemma also came across as quite professional; working tirelessly.

The only gripe that I do have though is having to get up at 06:30 every morning to reserve our two sunbeds. My partner has a disability, so needed to be near the main building. Not getting up at this time would mean missing out. On our first morning, I even saw someone sprint out for their sun loungers.

Overall though, an excellent two weeks in the sun - Will definately return

We have recently returned from a lovely relaxing break at this hotel. The resort itself is quiet but that is exactly what we wanted and there are buses and taxis to take you to visit larger resorts if you so wish. The food was good, there was always plenty to choose from and there was always something a little special and different most nights, like traditional Spanish cuisine. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Food is targeted at the English as they seem to occupy 95% of this hotel and the diabetic and gluten free selection is very good, we'd never seen this before in a hotel. The hotel is comprised mainly of older (golden!) people and some younger couples, there seems to be repeat visitors year after year and we can see why. The service is good, drinks are reasonable and staff are most helpful. We didn't stay around the pool so cannot comment on the sun loungers at the crack of dawn situation but it does go on, but lets face it, this happens everywhere and unless the hotel police the situation properly (which they won't and never will) then it will always happen wherever you go. Get a room with a sea view as rooms at the back of the hotel look out onto nothing. The bed was a little hard but that is pretty standard for Spain, the shower and bathroom was great though, lovely walk in shower that was very powerful. Being younger people we knew we were going to a hotel inhabited mainly by older people, we were prepared for that and we did meet some lovely people, but we probably wouldn't do this again by choice because some (quite a lot actually) can just be down right nasty and have no patience, more than anything what we learned this week is what type of people we want to be when we are older. Overall we'd recommend the hotel for those wanting a quiet and relaxing break in the sun.

Room Tip: Always get a room with a sea view

Back for a couple of days now and really miss the fun, food and glorious views. The hotel is
spotless, rooms are of a good size and the sea views are beautiful. Above all the staff are
brilliant, always cheerful, always courteous and efficient. High praise too for the food and the
restaurant staff, there is so much choice and the food is fresh, no warming up, just good
hot, fresh food, lovely salads and desserts. All regularly checked out by the manager, Jose,
(Frank Lampard lookalike). Would just say that the resort is tiny, if you are looking for the
disco scene don't go to Camp de Mar. A few nice shops, a few restaurants, a bank and a mini
market. Just so pretty and quiet. The very poor Thomson reference is to the Palma airport
fiascos both on arrival and departure, where are the Reps.? Pull your socks up, Thomson, no
information about luggage delays, one and a half hours waiting to retrieve our bags. Then a
delay on departure, no info. no announcement and all of us standing in the wrong queue.SHAME!

Room Tip: Opposite end from the entertainment area is quieter.

My wife and I have recently returned from a weeks holiday at the Playa Camp de Mar. Hotel is in a really picturesque quiet location but there are frequent buses to larger resorts, if that is what you want. All of the staff are really friendly and helpful and the Thomson's reps work tirelessly during the day and evenings. Entertainment was generally very good. Now food:- I am a fussy coeliac but could not speak highly enough of the service and selection available. Many main courses labelled 'sin gluten' ; gluten free muffins and cakes; gluten free toasties by the pool; gluten free bread for toast and even a special toaster for gluten free bread; finally a most unexpected bonus gluten free beer at not much more than you would pay in a uk supermarket. Brilliant!
