This hotel is good for families even with older children. The facilities are clean and there is nothing really to complain about. The entertainment team are always trying to get holiday makers involved in the activities on throughout the day.

The best views can be achieved from the fifth floor looking out over the lake, you will get a beautiful view of the sunrise as you put out your towels to secure your sunbeds at 6am.

A good hotel with an excellent location to walk to local shops and the beach.

We have been to this hotel before and we really enjoyed it,there was lots of entertainment even in the afternoons they played cash bingo and quizzes, this time there was no entertainment for adults, evening entertainment was not very good and it was only on for a couple of hours. Our room was overlooking roofs and huts and the smell was horrible at certain times of the day we had to keep the patio doors closed. The room was clean and the food was good, but this time this hotel was no way as good as when we visited it before.Air conditioning was bordering on warm instead of cold, the only way you could get the room cold was to open the front and back door to create a draft.

We arrived 25/7 just after lunchtime, booked into our room (first floor facing back). Rooms are basic but spotless! As we had a 3 year old with us, we were quite glad to be in a quieter part of the hotel.
Pool was fabby and my son was never out of kids pool. Plenty of seats but if you wanted a bed at pool you had to be up early as by 7am most beds had a towel on.
Food was ok, found it difficult to find something for my boy to eat as it was mostly fish dishes.
Entertainment guys were fab, asked if you wanted to join in but didn't harass you.
Didn't have to wait long for drinks etc

I would definitely come back to lagamonte, met loads of nice people and in general it was a great atmosphere!

Hotel was great for the third year running we had an updated room this time although it was only fresh paint and an lcd TV for extra £56 not really worth it but if all rooms get the same treatment then the £56 charge may disappear. Hotel clean room cleaned daily and room maids work hard to do a great job.Amstel lager on draft, coke and fanta for soft drinks all other drinks not top brands. Food ok plenty of choice you will not starve, hotel location on the lake is great with a water ski park on the lake if u fancy a go. The hotel is a 10 min walk to sea front and set back against the mountain so surrounding area not too busy or chaotic.Wifi 20 euros which we paid for our teenage daughter but it was not too good.

Me and my boyfriend stopped at the Bellevue Lagomonte for 10 nights from the 23rd of July to the 2nd August and honestly had a brilliant stay.

We arrived late at night and check in was quick and easy. We went straight up to our room which was a twin room and although the rooms were a bit dated, we had nothing to complain about. The shower was excellent, beds weren't the comfiest but as expected, still managed to get a decent nights sleep, there was a big mirror in the bathroom and one above a desk in the bedroom. The wardrobe space was adequate and we had plenty of hanging space. The TV was dated and we found it only had one English channel when we turned it on while we were getting ready to go out but this not bother us as we didn't go to watch TV. The balcony was a decent size and had chairs on it. Our towels were changes daily and bed sheets changed regularly. Cleaners always did an excellent job!

The food was as expected for a 3 star all inclusive. You shouldn't expect michelin stars but the food was good. I am a very fussy eater but always found something that I liked on offer.
Breakfast - Always fried eggs and pancakes prepared in front of you as well as having omelet, bacon, sausage, often hash browns, beans, cereals, yoghurt and fruit. There was also a huge selection of bread to choose from and a toaster.
Lunch - Again, there was still a huge selection of bread and lots of cold meats on offer. They also had out chips. This was similar to Dinner meal but Dinner had much more variety.
Dinner - Always one Fish and one meat cooked in front of you and you were asked whether you would like one or two pieces. As well as this there was always chips, rice and pasta, another meat dish another fish dish, salad and cold meats and again the selection of bread. There were 4 sauces offered including one gravy, one curry sauce, and two pasta sauces once of which would be a vegetarian option. Deserts included tubs of ice cream, sponges, jam rolls, fruit, jelly and mousse.
Snack bar - The snack bar was open from 10am until 6pm catering for any munchies you may have between meals. On the snack bar there was always a small salad selection, burgers and chips and also usually a saucy dish such as pasta.

Pool area's were cleaned once in the morning and once at night, we didn't use the pool at the hotel at all but we often used the one on the lake in the afternoon as this was the quietest and we only once arrived to find there were no sunbeds available although the pools are small they are adequate for the number of guests stopping at the hotel.

The shops and restaurants are only a five minute (if that) walk from the hotel and the 5km long beach is about a 10-15 minute walk. There was also a ting ting train outside the hotel which did a tour of Port D'Alcudia and at 3 euro's per person we often hopped on to have a ride to the port.

The main bar opened at 8pm and unlike a lot of all inclusive hotels you were aloud to order up to 4 drinks per person. The bar staff were friendly and tried to keep the queues short however this was sometimes not possible. Some of the cocktails were from a machine where as others they made fresh (I suggest you try Liams Cocktail - delicious).

The entertainment was mainly aimed at kids and so we did not tend to stop around instead we would have a few drinks in the hotel before going for a walk, we then often found a nice pub near the lake and sat and had a drink. If you don't mind looking around for a little while, there were often pubs with live music on in the area.

We thought this hotel was very good value for money but had a few complaints:
Wifi - There is no free wifi option, we paid 20 euros for 7 days of wifi on one device as we needed it to get out boarding card for a flight and find out transfer times while we were out there as we had booked through ice lolly and we managed to do this. However, it was very slow and only really worked in the lobby area which would not have bothered me if it had been free.
Entertainment - As mentioned above, the entertainment was not very entertaining.
Rooms - not very soundproof, you could hear people wheeling their cases along the corridor when arriving/leaving.

The island isn't huge with only an hours drive on the motorway from Alcudia to Palma at the opposite side of the island so I definitely recommend getting car hire while you are out there, or if not some of the excursions on offer are great. We enjoyed:
Island tour - bus, boat, tram and train rides along and through the mountains on the west coast with stops in Sa Calobra and Port De Soiler which are both beautiful.
Pirate adventure show - this is great for anyone kids and adults with comedy, acrobatics, action and contortionists included in this show - absolutely amazing!
Katmandu - This is a park which lots 4D cinema's, two mini golf courses and a big climbing frame with a bungee on it.
Caves of Drach, Arta and Campenet - These three caves were all amazing and absolutely beautiful inside. These are perfect when it is very hot as it is much cooler in the caves.
Palma Cathedral - Definitely worth a visit, absolutely beautiful place.
Marineland - Exellent for kids and adults alike. It is not very big only spent a couple of hours there but the dolphin and sea lion shows were amazing!

Overall - I think this hotel is brilliant for anyone on a budget. It's not glitz and glamour but it is a nice, clean and laid back hotel which is in a lovely resort. I think this is suitable for couples (like us) as well as families, as there is plenty for the kids to get involved in. The shops/bars are only a short walk away and are open late and the beach is beautiful.
