I was charmed by this old-fashioned hotel. While the rooms are quite small, that's to be expected in a building of its age, and the location more than makes up for it - just a few metres from the sea in the centre of the town. The service couldn't be faulted - the staff went out of their way to be helpful. Unlike previous reviewers, I was delighted by the Spanish breakfast - pan e tomate, jamon serrano and excellent coffee. One of the big bonuses of the hotel is their nearby garage, a boon in a town where parking is a nightmare. Make sure you reserve a parking place ahead of time as there are limited spaces. I'm not a huge Dali fan but was fascinated by the hotel's Dali memorabilia. (Note the wonderfully posed archive photos in the lift - the men are dressed, while the women are always naked!).

Room Tip: The rooms overlooking the street can be a bit noisy.

This hotel would be a gem if the owner would renewit and provide a proper service according to the very high price of this hotel.
The breakfast is poor and there is no service out of it, it was even impossible to get some ham for my little daughter!
The 2 young persons were very welcoming and very kind but the man that was taking the evening shift was very bad! No even moving from his desk when my wife got out with baby seat and all the usual stuff coming around.
We were in down season and even explaining that we had a very tough night because of our daughter sickness he didnt accept to give us an extra hour to check out. This person should reconsider his professional aspiration and or get a strong training in customer service.
Again this hotel could be a great hotel keeping his Dali's little museum which is very nice.

Making an overnight stop with no prior reservations, we just fell upon this place in pretty little Cadaques. Very centrally located. We had a suite - two rooms, with the bedroom & bathroom upstairs, after climbing up a winding metal staircase. Downstairs a sitting area and balcony look out over the street to the sea! There's even a telescope! Sunrìse was glorious! Couldn't be better. Steps away from restaurants & tapas bars. The two fellas we met at reception couldn't have been more helpful! The whole hotel - public rooms and bedrooms, are decorated with lots and lots of Dali memorabilia! Breakfast was in a small room out front - lovely toasted bread, croissants, juice, fruit, cafe con lèche! The whole experience was 5 star! We drove away with the room key by mistake but they couldn't have been nicer when I called from the road in France saying we'd mail it back once we got home! I'd love to come back here and stay longer. 115 euros for the night was clearly their low season rate and GREAT value for money!

We stayed one night in a twin room. The room: Basic but comfortable, with good mattresses and enough space for our three suitcases. The bathroom was spacious enough; there was a smell from the toilet that might be due to a leak, but we forgot to report it. The room was clean. Location: 15 minutes' walk from Dali museum, 2 minutes' walk from the water, 2 minutes' walk to a fruit stand (a few buildings down from the hotel, same side of the street) and a supermarket (around the corner from the fruit stand). The staff: Heroes! I hired a bike across the street. It broke; the owner wouldn't refund me and was quite rude. The staff helped me call the police to determine what to do, and helped me find the necessary forms to fill out. Thank you, Irena and Jordi!

Location was very convenient - easy walking distance from bus station and near the sea. Close to good restaurants/bars and shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even directing us to a nearby laundromat. The Dali theme was very unique and interesting. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast was tasty and beyond generous in portions! Take the tourist train near the hotel for a great tour of the area- very fun!
