Just a simple but very good hotel. Things that set it apart for me: very friendly and helpful staff, large room with large, comfy bed. Clean, including the bathroom, and nice towels. The neighbouring pub/restaurant has great food, too. The breakfast at £9 is a bit expensive if like me you're only having two slices of toast and a cup of tea. That price does include a cooked-to-order British breakfast, if that's your thing, though. The hotel wifi is quite good, but to use it you do have to consent to having everything you do online tracked and sold. It also occasionally breaks down, where it's not the hotel
equipment but the company that they connect through. It would seem that without having all this tracking and interception in place, it would be a more pleasant and stable experience.
Noise levels finally are a bit of an issue. There's quite a bit of loud ventilation equipment nearby, some of which emits high pitched noise, you don't want to be on that side of the hotel, but that was not an issue with my room.More
