The bed was uncomfortable the pillows were terrible I could not wait to leave I slept 3 hours in my car which was more comfortable would definatly not use again or recommend as worst nights sleep ever for me and my wife

The staff were rude, there was no running water, the fire alarm went off (hey it happens) but then no staff dealt with it they just let it ring out nobody came out to say we could go back in they just let us stroll back in willy nilly, absolute shambles, checked out the same day and was told no refund avaliable but honestly id rather forfeit the money.

Typical Travelodge standard so you know what you're getting. Popular with people visiting Romford for a night out at the weekend.
Easy walk from the train station, discounted parking in the multi story next-door.
Staff were friendly and room clean.

Romford Travelodge was clean and very quiet. The parking was excellent and very reasonably priced with discounts available for guests.The local transport facilities were close by and easy to use. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

Difficult where to start. Room had marks on wall and ceiling. One side of main bed had what looked like blood on the laminate. Light shade looked like chewing gum on it. Bath chipped and plug hole full of hair. Sink smelt. Laminate dressing table chipped and marked. I could go on. I understand Travel lodges are a basic stay but for the price paid for a night the expectation is not unreasonable to be so much higher. The room was just not worth the price paid and shabby in all aspects to say the least. Was I expecting too much don't think so

Room Tip: If there are better rooms then thus ask to see them
