We visited this charming restaurant tucked away in the back woods of Surrey St Johns village to be precise. There was nothing hillbilly about our experience there. Excellent greeting on arrival good selection of seating and an extensive menu. The food was of a very high standard and the only disappointment was that Tim Foley was not with us to enjoy the meal and celebrate Colin B birthday. All four courses were enjoyed along with a marvellous example of Amorone , we enjoyed it so much we had to order the second as we did not believe the quality of the first. The anti pasta was of exceptional standard and nearly as good as the offering we had enjoyed at the Italian theme night the previous evening in aid of Tommy D. We all can recommend the veal albeit we had varying options but tasted each other's. Very well worth a visit and next time we will invite Tim foley so that we can discuss his golf day .
