Idyllic Hebridean getaway location....quaint old hotel, friendly staff ,comfortable rooms, good good, nice wee bar....outstanding views from some rooms, of the island and to the sea.
Quiet, tranquil location, great to explore the island and beaches by bike, kayaks also for hire locally, popular mooring spot for sailors.

Gigha Hotel is beautiful. Warm and welcoming on arrival, lovely room with beautiful views across the water to Tayinloan. The food was lovely (cajun spisoft shell crab and lamb shank). The only minor thing that I could fault was the shower, it had very little pressure from the mixer tap.

Gigha is a haven. Lush greenery, sparkling blue sea, white sugar beaches and the paps of Jura in the distance. Very peaceful, beautiful and welcoming place. The hotel was excellent, clean and spacious rooms, perfect location, lovely beer garden and high quality food. The staff were so kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and so did my Chihuahuas as it was so dog friendly. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: Our room had great sea views

Wonderful island break on Gigha. Felt we had stepped back in time. Little traffic, beautiful beaches and good food. Visited Achamore Gardens - an easy walk from the hotel as was a beautiful sandy cove - perfect for morning dog walk before breakfast.

Room Tip: Our “dog friendly’ was very comfortable and had plenty room for our large Labrador too.
