The food is okay but doesn't feel genuinely "chinese", if you know what I mean. I found management and the waiters were rather rude and didn't really care too much about their customers. Pricing of the food was average and it took a while to get served. I usually don't mind that - in the event that there are lots of people in the restaurant, it's understandable - but when I was there, there were only a few people in the restaurant and they already had their meals and it still took longer than usual for my meal to be prepared.
It isn't horrible, though. It's the only chinese restaurant I've heard of in the area, which generally means their service doesn't have to be great and people that love chinese food have no choice but to eat there when they want to go to a chinese restaurant. I've seen worse, though.
In the end, don't expect too much and you should enjoy your meal at Golden Restaurant.
