The drive around the Park is so facinating The rock formations were spectacular to say altleast Plenty of pull off points to stop and walk around and take photos It is a national park so have to pay an entrance fee A tip if your travelling WA but a National Park Pass you save what you pay in no time

Truly one of the best and unique sites to visit in WA. Less than half an hour drive from Cervantes that filled with beautifully amazing view of Indian Ocean coastline and inland dunes.

Worth the visit and a must at least once in a lifetime and be amazed by the natural formation of limestone.

We drove through the desert where projections were found. Plants were abundant in the arid environment. The features were extraordinarily beautiful and worth a visit.

The Pinnacles Desert is a short 2 hour drive from Perth up the coast line. The views of the Indian Ocean, huge pure white sand dunes and beaches and the surrounding landscape is fantastic. The Pinnacles are unique; there is no other formation that matches or is the same as the The Pinnacles, so Perth is the only place you can see thousands of 3 metre tall rock pillars in a sea of deep yellow sand, this is the place!

The Pinnacles are perfect for a guided tour from Perth as it takes out the hassle of finding the place, and its great to have a local tour guide to paint a picture of these formations. Many times people drive here alone, or with a friend, and leave disappointed. An experienced knowledgable guide can transform this trip into a very magical day.
I've been to these formations over 100 times and they get better with every trip.
The mechanisms and geological processes that formed these formations are very complicated and very interesting. I can confirm they are made of limestone , which is the calcified remains of dead marine organisms ( already more interesting than "just rocks" :):)
There are thousands of them here and the landscape is worth taking at least a few hours here. Take your time to do the walking trail and get some fresh air and really enjoy these formations. The driving trail is over-rated, i think the walking trail is much better.
The Pinnacles also make amazing photos, and if you take a tour with an experienced local tour guide, they can get all the family and friends in the photo rather than someone always missing out.
I rate the Pinnacles Deset a five star rating.
