The morning breakfast is area clean, inviting, and a good place to be early in the morning. The smell of delicious coffee brewing, fresh OJ, waffles, fresh bagels, assorted fresh fruit, yogurt and bakery items are yours for the selection. It is "meticulously" maintained and continuously being replenished by Monet, Breakfast Concierge (*****), definitely a 5 star employee. On a very, very busy morning, I smiled silently to myself as Monet was assisting each hotel guest (our country's best service men and women) with their requests. Monet's assigned command: Breakfast at the Crossroads Inn...smile.

Room Tip: Handicapped room was excellent

Stayed here for 4 nights over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. First, I have to say that every single staff person we came in contact with was super friendly and helpful. Didn't meet a single grouch and everyone went out of their way to say hello and help out, no matter the request. The room was OK. Nothing spectacular, but it was clean and well appointed. Everything worked just fine. There is a cold breakfast buffet every morning (starts at 6 during the week and 7 on the weekend). All the usual....cereals, pastries, fruit, yugurt, juices, and coffee. As an added attraction, you can make your own waffle!

Although not everyone can stay here because it is on the military base, if you can, it is a good bargain and I highly recommend it.

Until we discovered the Crossroads Inn, we would stay in either northern Virginia or DC and pay a considerable amount more without the cleanliness or accommodations of the Crossroads Inn. Over the past 4 years with have stayed at the Crossroads Inn and they have never failed to exceed their reputation as an outstanding place to stay regardless of whether your trip is business, family or vacation. We are Hilton Honors and Marriott Rewards members and we still prefer the Marine Corps best, The Crossroads Inn.

Room Tip: We normally stay on a higher floor on the back side of the hotel

Is it the Crossroads Inn or is it the Inn of The Corps? Take your pick. It's listed as each one. So try not to be confused by the name. On TripAdvisor it's listed as Crossroads Inn, but don't look for a sign outside that says that. Our suite was fine except that the gap under the interconnecting door to the next room was big enough to drive a vehicle under. The folks next door sounded like they were in the same room. It was a blessing when they tucked it in early, and quietly. Breakfast was included and well done.w

We've stayed at many different military facilities around the country. This one was exceptionally nice. The lobby was warm and friendly with sandwiches to purchase and menus for local food delivery. The rooms were a bit small but had a nice small kitchen, private bath and a couch and flat panel TV. All in all very nicely appointed. The only downside was finding the entrance to the base at night as the signage was poor at best getting to the base and the facility. In the daylight I'm sure it would be much easier.
