The positive: Million-dollar oceanfront views right off the boardwalk, comfortable beds, nice balcony with chairs, clean room, refrigerator, microwave, room safe, convenient parking across the street (need to use room key to access garage), overall a great location (27th and Atlantic), convenient to a lot of restaurants and activities.
Need to know: must love dogs...lots of dogs here! Must pick up box breakfast to take back to room (good coffee but there is only 1 meal choice each day), When they say a room has a "den" this is just a couch in the room. This couch is really the only place to sit and the lighting while trying to read there is poor.
The negative: breakfast eggs waaaay too salty and inedible (potatoes, biscuit, pancakes were good), they are still on COVID protocols and only clean rooms every 3 days or on request. Otherwise you need to collect your own trash and dirty towels and place outside your door each day. I suppose a lot of hotels are still doing this and while understandable, it detracts from the whole experience and my ratings for service reflects this. Oddly, there is no ventilation fan in the bathroom. Lastly, I had an elderly relative with me who gets up during the night to go the bathroom. Luckily I brought a flashlight so they could find their way in the dark as the bathroom light is on a timer and we could...The positive: Million-dollar oceanfront views right off the boardwalk, comfortable beds, nice balcony with chairs, clean room, refrigerator, microwave, room safe, convenient parking across the street (need to use room key to access garage), overall a great location (27th and Atlantic), convenient to a lot of restaurants and activities.
