We stayed two nights at this hotel and selected it because of the location which was absolutely fantastic! The check in process took a bit of time but they were training two new employees and it was a busy time for check in. The room was nice and clean with a nice balcony but the bathroom is small and our water would not drain in either the bath tub or the sink. This should have been caught by the cleaning staff because there is no way it could have been overlooked. That was our only complaint. The breakfast staff were phenomenal and you also saw cleaning staff trying to keep the sand out of the lobby which is hard with a beach front hotel. The location did make this a nice stay and access to the beach and views of the pier were wonderful.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Oceanfront in Virginia Beach. It is VERY clean and their employees are super- friendly. Our second floor oceanfront room was wonderful. Be advised that there is loud music in the hotel restaurant from 7 PM until 11:30 PM. We were in the wing of the hotel farthest away from the music so it did not bother us. When you check in they make you initial an advisory’ about the music. There are two restaurants in the hotel. The restaurant with the loud music is Oceans 14 which is excellent. The other one is Mexican and it’s also quite good. The free breakfast is also very good. We highly recommend this hotel and will return.
