Clean, comfort, convenient location

Highly recommend this Hyatt due it’s cleanliness. The lobby is beautiful and inviting. Plenty of seating if needed. Breakfast area is very nice-a variety of options. Front desk staff always greeting you upon entry. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. If you’re deciding between the neighboring Hilton and Hyatt….CHOOSE HYATT. The Hilton in Town Center was horrible-outdated, not clean, and disgusting beyond the lobby.

Great service!

We were evacuated due to a tropical storm. The Hyatt Place helped us with a reservation and went out if they’re way to be helpful. The hotel was clean and modern. We would stay there again if in the area.

Perfect Location to Explore VA Beach.....

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Place VB Town Center. It was the perfect location with many stores and restaurants in walking distance. It is about a 10-15 minute drive to the oceanfront, with minimal traffic. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast options were great and covid-friendly. I will definitely stat there again with I return.

Felt very unwelcome

A older women at front desk if looks could speak! Did not open her mouth and greet me and my family. Once someone of a different race came in she was very helpful! Never would expect this from Hyatt! Overnight front desk staff AMAZING “ LA LA “

I'm sorry you were not greeted upon arrival as expected. Please do understand our front desk clerks have several projects to work on during their shifts such as...assigning rooms to a group block so they can all be near each other, splitting up billing charges, balancing cash drawers, taking phone calls, making, changing & cancelling reservations, doing inventory, etc. Concentrating on the task at hand can sometimes take away our focus to our guests. We certainly apologize. Thank you so much for letting us know & I believe the hotel General Manager is responding to you directly as well. To be clear, please know & understand that this encounter was not a race issue.

Exceptional stay

I had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean equipped with all your needs except a microwave. Hot breakfast was served, a great variety. Newer hotel and pleasant staff. The gym was smaller then I liked but served its purpose and the pool was open. I absolutely recommend this hotel.
