Sandbridge Beach is beautiful! We were there on a cold windy day with unseasonably cold temperatures so we had the beach to ourselves! The water was cold with swift moving waves. I enjoy beaches with less crowds and away from tourist!
I would definitely love to go back here on a warmer day to enjoy the beach and sunshine!

This is a beautiful beach, and the pickup point for False Cape State Park. There is a wildlife refuge in between that doesn’t want you disturbing their nesting birds. But you can quietly bike through.
They really do separate the surfers and swimmers, a wise move!
Be very careful on the drive out to the beach. There have been some horrific crashes on that twisty road!

If you want to be at the beach but avoid the crowds this a good one to come to. It is well managed and clean without all the hustle that you get at VB. Too bad it was to cold jump in. Sunset was very nice.

The National wildlife reserve is wild and we'll managed. Lots of birds and turtles. There's a primative campground that you can get to with a 5 mile hike. Excellent visitor center and knowledgeable rangers. Love it.

Sandbridge section of Virginia Beach is the absolute best place for beach lovers and family gatherings! It’s quiet and out of the way with spectacular beach houses and condos. Family friendly and private. Come and fall in love with the best sunrises on the east coast!
