There were dead cockroaches on the air conditioning unit and in the bathroom. During the night there was screeching and scratching sounds coming from the kitchen. At 7 a.m. I went to the front lobby and no one was there. At 7:20 I called down and someone came up with a broom to get rid of the critter. Because of the bugs and Noise We Got No Sleep. Was not worth the money we paid.

We are so sorry that you experienced these problems following your stay here. I hope that you are alright now. We work hard to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests. Although we were not informed of your issues until you returned home, the GM immediately inspected the room, and then summoned our professional exterminator to inspect the room. On both occasions, no evidence of roaches was found, but the exterminator treated the room as a precaution. There were no related issues with the prior guest, or the guest after you. Nevertheless, we understand your concerns, and are here if you would like to discuss the matter further.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the lack of proper service that you received during your stay. That is not our usual level of customer service and we will be sure to speak with our team about the issues you mentioned immediately to find out what could have happened during your stay.
We appreciate your patronage and hope that you enjoyed the rest of your time in the Virginia Beach area.

This is a budget hotel that I have used quite frequently because it's near the beach about a two-minute walk across the street it's also clean and the hotel staff are very accommodating friendly and helpful it's no frills so don't expect them but it's clean roomy and close to the beach

The room was ok, a little outdated. The shower valve was broke got hot water in sink but not at shower even after running for 20 min. Internet was really slow. Asked for late check out when I checked in because I was working till 4 am. Maid was banging on my door at 9:45am. Told her I had a late check out. She came back banging on the door 2 more times over the next 1-1/2 hrs. Complained at desk when I checked out. The front desk said with new boilers have to let the showers run for a while to get hot water. I did had it at the sink could see where the shower was Jerry rigged. Plus the shower rod was broken the curtain would not stay closed. As for the maid. They said there was no record of me asking for late check out. I also sent request for it in message special request when booking. Either way the maids shouldn't knock on doors before regular check out time unless they have a confirmed check out. Looked like they only had 10 rooms booked out of about 45 when I was staying there. There was no reason for the same maid to bang on my door 3 times in under 2 hours when I told her to go away the first time.will chose another place next visit!!

Thank you for taking time to leave feedback. While we're very pleased you chose to stay with us, we're dismayed to learn that you didn't have a pleasant experience.
We're very sorry you didn't receive the proper room and we will certainly talk with our housekeeping staff so we may work towards improving the areas that you have noted. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority.
We hope you were able to enjoy your time in Virginia Beach aside from these few inconveniences, and hope you found our beautiful beach and boardwalk a lot of fun
