Great venue with all ocean view rooms. Direct access to the boardwalk and beach. Outstanding views of sunrise. Observation deck is probably packed during summer season, but was not set up or staffed for Spring Break. 1 of the elevators was out of order which caused delays coming and going. Parking was in a garage a block west of the hotel. We had a corner suite. Plenty of room for adults and teenager.

The bathroom although huge had a crack in the shower floor, very limited towel racks, no clothes line for swim suits/towels, and the sink faucets were too close to the mirrors so you had difficulty turning them on the entire way.

Also, no one acknowledged my Hilton status

Room tip: Plan for times when you need your car, not enough places to hang wet suits and towels

Wonderful Friday night stay with my Wife and Son.
My Son ran in the Shamrock Final mile on Saturday morning, which started 3 blocks away. Nice room on 12th floor with refrigerator and microwave. The pool is indoor/outdoor. Air temperature was 55 degree, but outdoor pool water was heated. Indoor pool was freezing, but there was a note on the door explaining why. The restaurant is called Lagerheads. Not bad for Burgers, etc. Self parking was $10, valet $16. Not sure why, but I was chased down by Stanley from the parking garage. The key opened the gate, but I was told by Stanley to go to the hotel and get another key. We were already checked out, so we went home. Thank you for a fun night at the beach.

I was not terribly impressed, but was not disappointed.

Self park garage parking was $10/day and half a block away. If you don't mind an extra $6 per day, go ahead and valet park.

I was on the 3rd (Sundeck) floor. I would not recommend this floor if you could avoid it. The room was appropriately appointed. Bed not super comfortable but okay. Several bulbs burned out in the bathroom, but they were replaced after I reminded them (twice).

Lager Heads restaurant had great burgers and was reasonably priced.

Room tip: Stay off the 3rd floor

I'm not one to write negative reviews, this will be my first!

Stayed at the Hilton Garden Oceanfront to attend a 3-day conference. I've stayed at this hotel before and have truly enjoyed the accommodations. Upon arrival I was met by three fire engines, the front desk staff denied any knowledge of what was occurring.

The first morning I woke to no water. The front desk staff stated that there was an issue with a water pump and the engineering crew was on the way in to repair it (Day 1 NO shower).

The second morning I woke to no hot water. Again, the front staff stated that the engineering crew was on their way in to make repairs (Day 2 NO Shower).

The third day I woke once again to cold water. Thankfully I was leaving and on my way home (Day 3 NO Shower).

I understand things occur and can be out of one's control, The hotel staff never relayed any of these issues and when asked they seemed to have very little compassion.

Stayed here many times in the past. There are many newer hotels in the area that I might need to stay at next time.

We sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered during your stay. Our team worked diligently to correct both issues as quickly as possible but unfortunately needed outside vendors to resolve. While these issues have now been corrected there is no excuse for the lack of compassion from our team, and again I apologize for that and will address. We do hope you will consider staying with us again in the future.

Good location and have stayed here several times in the past. This time was completely different. When checking in was not acknowledged as a Hilton honors member which is not a big deal but based on the rest of the stay was telling.

Morning one- No water in room. Problem with whole hotel due to a pump failure. Can’t predict that so wasn’t upset.

Morning two- We had water but only cold water. No explanation given.

Morning three- Still had water but only luke warm. At least I could take a shower.

When checking out purposely went to front desk to check out rather than online. No apology for the water situation during stay and was not even asked how my stay was. Guess they already knew.

Overall, a very disappointing stay and certainly did not live up to what I expect from Hilton.
