Description: Rudee's on the Inlet welcomed its rst guest on March 17, 1983, in what was originally designed to be a bait & tackle shop. Since that day, Rudee's has grown to become one of the most popular restaurants and night spots at the Beach. Housed in a replica of an authentic Coast Guard station, the Restaurant & Cabana Bar has grown to include our outside deck with our popular "glider seating" over the water and seasonal re pit tables. Kick back, relax and have a great time. We hope you enjoy our delicious, fresh seafood, specialty drinks and the beautiful sunsets over Rudee Inlet.

We love sitting on the gliding outdoor seats at this marina-side restaurant, and the tuna nachos were just as good as remembered.

Rudee's is a place I always visit when in VB. They have the best Oysters Rock anywhere. Not a fancy pantsy place, just good seafood, on the dock, and great people. This week, I was fortunate enough to be in VB in October. Rudee's has "locals" specials, available to anyone, from october thru February that are unbeatable. Last night, I had the Tuesday special, a whole Maine lobster and two sides (potatoi and veggie medley) for $10.99. They have $10.99 specials every day except Friday and Saturday that would normally be at least $25 or $30. But be warned, if you want the Tuesday lobster special, go early. They only have 100 live lobsters and they are usually gone before 6:30.(Start selling them at 5:00).

Other off-season specials: all $10.99 and include two sides. Monday, one pound fresh steamed shrimp or Filet Oscar(filet mingon topped with crab meat), Tuesday, whole Maine lobster, Wednesday, choice of 8 oz prime rib or two full size crab cakes (jumbo lump with almost no filler), Thursdqy local flounder stuffed with crab, Sunday half pound sea scallops wrapped in bacon.

I love this place. The people are very friendly and the food is great.

Food was good, but I have never in my life left a restaurant hungry after spending 75 bucks on diner. Service was ok, hostess kept trying to sit everyone on top of one another. Restaurant was pretty empty at the time. Staff a little on the slow side. Food was good though.

We went during Nautilus and managed to get there for the early bird. For 13.99, you can't go wrong, but they do charge for many things, even on the full priced menu...without any alcohol we still ended with a $40 bill for 2.

Am not sure I would have been as pleased at full price. The salad was fresh, the steak and tuna good, but the vegetables were overcooked and the potato just warm. Service was good and certainly the location on the inland nice.

In summary....go, but don't go out of your way.
