Not 5 star due to tiny toilet, tub, bathroom, bed pad that would not stay in place: workable and minor. Good covered walkways and access between buildings, fresh and clean smelling without lots of chemical smells. Beautiful plants, landscaping between buildings - there could be more of that! Everything in good working order, all expected amenities.

We had the best service ever! When we needed batteries for the TV remote they brought it right up, and when we needed and extra blanket they quickly brought it up. The breakfast was AMAZING!! The array of food seemed endless and fresh and endless! The restaurant staff was very friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked in and thanked us for coming as we left. They staff also was always cleaning the tables and taking extra plates from the customers. I would recommend this Hotel and restaurant to anyone!

Rude employees, loud noises, no refresh of toiletries beyond first day. NO ELEVATOR , so be careful if you have heavy luggage . Missed my morning shower as I did not have any hot water, and when I reported that as a problem they were very rude and tried to make look stupid , I mean how hard is it to operate a shower. Considering the fact that I am an engineer!!!! Never will repeat and this chain in any place

We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. Guests should never be treated in a rude way or made to feel stupid. I know that when you reported the problem with the water, we immediately checked it, and the water was OK. I am not sure what happened for it not to be hot when you tried. We were in a rush and - did not have a reservation and were so happy that the Red Lion in Bellevue had an available room. We got to sleep in and were off to a great start the next day because of the wonderful rest we received.

We used this hotel as part of a arranged event and this was our experience. The property is an older motel style with parking close to rooms. They have renovated in dark chocolate shades -- not a fan! The landscaping is simple. The separate buildings are connected with covered walkways -- good in rainy weather. We explained to a friendly front desk clerk how to charge the room. She spent 15 minutes setting this up, but when we departed this was not done. On departure another clerk told us the room key cards would not work in our doors after we checked out -- this is simply not correct. The room was decent, comfortable bed and good working area. Bathroom was a little shopworn, but did the job. Housekeeping was very good. Oddly, we watched what looked like hotel staff washing cars in the parking lot. In another area, a food truck was parked one day, but not the others. The highlight was the breakfast buffet, with good food, excellent bacon, hot oatmeal, eager staff and hot coffee. The bar closed very early each night despite customers being around. I did wonder about security as mentioned in other reviews. With this Red Lion you are paying less for a non upscale property but I think they have cut the wrong corners.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry the billing was not set up properly after you invested time in getting that done. That is frustrating and I am not sure what happened there. All of our agents deal with requests like this routinely, so there is no good reason. I am following up with the staff. The Hertz rental car company, who leases a space in our lobby and an area of the parking lot, has their employees wash cars on property. The hotel team does also occasionally wash our shuttle van as well. The food truck pod is a new concept that is just getting started- we are allowing food trucks to use a portion of our parking lot every weekday from 11am to 1pm. Its fun and a nice amenity for the guests and community. However, the food trucks are not under any obligation to come and can sign up to come when they want. We have had 2 days this month when we had no trucks- once the truck was in an accident on the way to Bellevue, and once no truck signed up. There is a website where folks can look up which trucks are coming which days. I am glad there were many aspects of your stay that you enjoyed and that you had no security issues, as the vast majority of our guests do not. I appreciate the time you took in sharing all of this information.
