We found out the hotel has a contract with a taxi company. We found this out when we called for a ride back to the hotel and a taxi picked us up at the airport. Since this is the case we got screwed when we first arrived and asked for a shuttle to the airport for 6am. We were told the shuttle driver does not start until 8am . Well thats a load of crap. We had to pay us $25 for a taxi ride to the airport. So beware.

We spent one night during our 2016 college tour. This hotel was one of the better ones. Nice and clean. Good breakfast. Great location. We walked to nearby Whole Foods Market for snacks. Good internet service.

Room tip: Rooms towards the back of the hotel are farther away from the main road and quieter.

I have been in a lot of hotels in my life, but I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the room, the quality of the amenities, and the incredibly responsive kind staff.

It was so nice to be in a hotel that only charges $79 a night, but was better than MANY rooms I have had for $140-$160 a night.

The place has a nice elevator. Ice machines on every floor! The ice machines actually all worked perfectly. Unlike the hotel I stayed at in Seattle for $250 a night and the ice machine didn't even work!!!

The staff are amazing! I was having trouble with my TV at first and I called down and they sent maintenance up and they were up to my room right away. A guy named Travis was extremely kind and helpful and took care of the problem... which turned out to be human error on my part... ;-) all of the people at the counters are very VERY nice and helpful at all times. I asked for three extra pillows -- boom done in seconds!

There was a lady at the counter named Daisy who was especially kind and caring. It is obvious that this hotel goes out of its way to hire quality people. All of the cleaning crew that I talked with around the hotel (while they were in and out of rooms) are really nice and sweet, and even spoke English!

For the price - there is absolutely, positively not a better place on the planet to stay! I would say highly recommended, but I would rather say infinitely recommended!

Thank you GuestHouse Inn!
Dave

The only good thing about this inn was that it was PET FRIENDLY with no added fees, and Wood's coffee roastery is literally ten steps away.

The first morning we were there, we decided to extend our stay for one more night. The front desk approved it and so we went back to the room at 10am to get ready to leave for the day. Housekeeping came in TWICE without knocking!! Even though we had a Do Not Disturb sign on the door knob! On the way back from shopping, our key cards didn't work anymore so we had to walk in the storm back to the front desk and get them updated. Why didn't they do this when we requested the extension in the AM?

Because we checked in on a Stormy weekend, we had to spenfd some time in the Room. We wanted to order some pizza and watch the baseball game but discovered that the phone didn't work. The front desk sent a technician up to help, which took about 30 min to fix, walking in and out of room. Then we discovered that the fridge doesnt work, which we need to chill groceries and beer for said baseball game. So hotel moved us to a different room upstairs, which was louder because of proximity to highway. AND because we are now a storey up, the Wifi doesn't work!!!!

The hotel gave us a discount because of everything that went wrong, but it still doesn't make up for a stressful weekend getaway that we wanted.

Customers also leave their dogs alone in the room even though they aren't suppose to so dogs were barking for 15+ min straight sometimes.

Do not stay in room 329 and 229. There is no wifi in 329 and these are the closest room to the highway therefore it is loud. Wifi doesn't reach 329 because I went down to the lobby to check and it was working in the lobby.

We do appreciate it being pet friendly with some nice grass outside. And the weekday price is nice. You get what you pay for. Not worth it for weekend price.

I would give this a 4 or 5 star but the WIFI was absolutely unusable. I needed to get work done so that was a real disappointment. Other than that it is really a first class hotel. Really clean, modern, great lobby, decent breakfast. There is a excellent Woods Coffee about 150 fee away and a Fred Meyer. The check in people were very nice with good attitudes.

Room tip: Away from freeway is probably best
