The only good thing about this inn was that it was PET FRIENDLY with no added fees, and Wood's coffee roastery is literally ten steps away.
The first morning we were there, we decided to extend our stay for one more night. The front desk approved it and so we went back to the room at 10am to get ready to leave for the day. Housekeeping came in TWICE without knocking!! Even though we had a Do Not Disturb sign on the door knob! On the way back from shopping, our key cards didn't work anymore so we had to walk in the storm back to the front desk and get them updated. Why didn't they do this when we requested the extension in the AM?
Because we checked in on a Stormy weekend, we had to spenfd some time in the Room. We wanted to order some pizza and watch the baseball game but discovered that the phone didn't work. The front desk sent a technician up to help, which took about 30 min to fix, walking in and out of room. Then we discovered that the fridge doesnt work, which we need to chill groceries and beer for said baseball game. So hotel moved us to a different room upstairs, which was louder because of proximity to highway. AND because we are now a storey up, the Wifi doesn't work!!!!
The hotel gave us a discount because of everything that went wrong, but it still doesn't make up for a stressful weekend getaway that we wanted.
Customers also leave their dogs alone in the room even though they aren't suppose to so dogs were barking for 15+ min straight sometimes.
Do not stay in room 329 and 229. There is no wifi in 329 and these are the closest room to the highway therefore it is loud. Wifi doesn't reach 329 because I went down to the lobby to check and it was working in the lobby.
We do appreciate it being pet friendly with some nice grass outside. And the weekday price is nice. You get what you pay for. Not worth it for weekend price.
