My wife and I visited D'Anna's for an Anniversary Dinner. While it isn't particularly distinctive in décor and a little hard to find, the menu choices are many and the food was excellent. Prices are very reasonable, especially given the large portions. We both took half of our dinners home and had a second meal the next day for lunch. The D'Anna's Chicken dinner and the Bruscelloni dinner were both very tasty. There are not a lot of what we would classify as fine dining experiences in Whatcom County and this is one place we'll be going back to. One negative is that they do not take reservations for less than a party of 7, so there are times you have to wing-it and hope to get a table during prime dinner hour.

Because Bellingham has so few decent restaurants, we jumped when told to visit D'anna's. Long wait, cafe style atmosphere and food that was so unimpressive. The garlic bread was the best thing served...just sayin'. Sit down, fast food was how we described this menu. Greasy, overcooked and smothered in batter and sauces. If you want decent Italian food in Bellingham, try Giuseppe's - this is 10 times better food, drink, atmosphere and service!

Very sorry you had a bad experience at our restaurant. The homemade bread that we make has no garlic in it. You might say that it is a Sicilian style pizza bread. Glad you liked it. It would be very helpful to us if you could let us no exactly what you ordered so that we could evaluate what we did wrong to make it better. We do not consider ourselves fast food. We make all our pasta, ravioli, bread from the flour up. Everything is made and sauteed to order off our menu. Constructive criticism is very needed with the experience you had. It seems I never took the time to write up this restaurant. Truly, it's too good to overlook. We had a large party of 12-14 on a Friday night. We had reservations but we still waited at least a half hour. Though we were grouchy, tired, and hungry by the time we got our table, the rest was a divine experience. Everyone ordered a different pasta. Everything was delicious. So many good flavors and interesting combinations. We will definitely come back some time. Well done D'Anna's!

Husband and I stopped in because TripAdvisor had this place at the top of the list. It's definitely for a good reason! We were so hungry from a long day of traveling from Spokane, and we left completely satisfied! We had the steamed clams, and we both had the Dungeness crab linguini. Everything was so flavorful and fresh! Our server was so sweet, food came fast! Definitely a must try!

Good food, good service, easy parking. Went here for dinner, had the spaghetti with homemade sausage: delicious. My wife had the ravioli which was also very good. They have anchor steam on tap which is an added bonus if you haven't tried it. Their house red wine was also quite good. Service was fast friendly and efficient.
