This restaurant does not take reservations and the evening wait is 10-25 minutes, but it is worth it. A great Italian restaurant with very traditional as well as innovative dishes, like puttanesca with pork belly or ragu with antelope both outstanding. The antipastos is a great meat and vegetable plate with enough for 4 (or two really hungry ones).
The wine list is good but not extensive and has many great values.
This is a place to stop and enjoy Italian in Edmonds!

Bucatini is located in a small od strip mall on Route 104 in Edmonds. The food is excellent! The pasta is home made, and the grinder sandwiches are huge and superb. Will definitely go back for more!!

Very hearty and tasty central or southern Italian food (my guess as it does not feel to be from the North of Italy). Very pleasant variety of foods. Many of the items were on the menu in the previous incarnation of this solid restaurant (Casa d'Italia on 65th Street in Seattle).
Good value for the money. Only drawback is the very very noisy ambiance, especially when one is seated next to a group of more than 4 people. Over several visits we have not found a "quiet" table. But the food is worth the effort of coping with the noise level.

We’d taken a day trip by ferry to Kingston and got back to Edmonds about 5:00pm

We’d been to Bucatini a couple times before and been impressed with variety and quality of the daily menu options. Make that three times now. We had another great meal.

In addition to the printed menu they have a chalkboard menu of 6-8 options the wait staff brings to your table and describes to you. We’ve always ordered off of that. We’ve never been disappointed, the foods been excellent.

Prices for both food and wine are very reasonable. Dinner, appetizer, wine and tip was about $100 for two of us.

Don’t sit at a table by front windows. Car headlights occasionally shine right at you when they’re parking.
