Reviewed 26 July 2012

the cabin is a "dry cabin" which means, no water. It has a great fridge, stove, microwave and countertop. It has a double bed and a double futon, a round table with three chairs, some various pots and pans, dishes and glassware, although if you use any of it, you must wash it before you check out. We went when it was super hot out and there is no air (of course, it's a cabin) and only one window had a screen on it, to be able to open for any kind of air to get in at night. The mosquitos are TERRIBLE!!!!! so you can't leave the door open at all for ventilation. the water source for the cabin is across a short parking lot under a tree, and fisherman come early in the morning and park in front of your cabin if you do not block out an area. I spoke with management when we left and he said he would be installing new windows with screens for cross ventilation and putting in a mirror in the cabin. (some of us do want to know what we look like before we walk out the door in the morning). Also the only flush bathrooms with one shower, shared with the campground, is up a small hill through the campground about 100 feet. All in all it was interesting, not terrible, the store makes coffee in the morning at 6, but there is a coffee maker in the cabin, for 65.00 bucks I guess I would probably go back for the ease of just getting up and hopping in the boat.

Room Tip: The photos on the web site are accurate to the cabin.
